Bellows Air Force Station Market Place — Local services in Oʻahu

Not really a market, per se. But a great selection of food trucks parked at the entrance to Bellows Marine Air Force Base. (the base is only open to the public on weekends, which is when this market usually operates) multiple Chicken options, the koala moa was excellent. So was the chicken mushroom plate from another vendor. Ribs, BBQ are other options we didn't try, but will! Drawback is NO garbage containers, so be respectful and tote your purchases back home to toss. Can be sunny, but large trees are available to sit under. Bring your beach towel to sit on,...

The man who sells coconuts is a scammer and takes advantage of tourists. When you ask him the price of something, he comes close to you and whispers the price. He told me $20 for one coconut. Obviously, I said no and went to the shop next door to buy a hot dog. While I was buying the hot dog, a couple went to buy coconuts. They asked him the price, and he whispered it. The woman tried to confirm and asked, "$10?" and he said yes. I was shocked. He doesn’t display his prices like the other vendors....

Smash burger food truck was amazing. Unfortunately they were only accepting cash or Venmo, but we're not charging tax so I was only able to buy 2 burgers. The waffle fries looked delicious tho, which I would have bought, plus 2 more hamburgers if they accepted credit card 😞.

Across the street was a Peruvian food truck which I'll have to try next time, too.

Also had a poke bowl truck but he was all sold out, and several other trucks.

Definitely a good place to come...
