Usually a chill beach. I typically will take my dogs and sit on the beach and use the chuck it to play fetch. Never had an issue before. Went today and had 5 dogs. 3 on leashes two without as I trust them and we were just walking to the beach. Some worker in a truck followed us around and harassed us until we left. Can’t even let my dog run on the beach supervised without some ahole ruining it. Don’t go in the morning if you want peace. Never been bothered before until going in the morning. Would not recommend. Parks and rec workers are the worst out here. Please give them more to do if they have nothing better than follow people around in a truck on the beach when there are literally three...

This is just down the beach from Bellows. Great surf for boogie boarding. There was about 6 other cars in the parking lot when we got there. It has bathrooms and showers. People have mentioned plastic in the sand but it was very small and didn’t bother me at all. There is shady areas in the trees if you want to stay out of the sun. Some of the waves can knock you down and the current can pull you if you’re not careful. Nothing dangerous but you can get hammered by the waves if you’re caught off guard. One of our best days in Oahu was boogie boarding and jumping waves at this beach. Even our little loved getting knocked...

Love this spot tucked between Waimanalo beach and Bellows. Parking does fill up on weekends but is more plentiful than Waimanalo Beach Park.

Theres two bath houses each with a shower, maybe three but I didn’t walk down far enough to know for sure.

There are lifeguard stands. Great for boogie boarding. Shorebreak can be too much for littles or quite perfect. Check the conditions first and don’t assume anything.

Beautiful views of the miles to the north and rabbit island and the end of the Koolaus to the south.

The water here is the brightest shades of blue and...

My go to place for camping.... restrooms are usually clean and stocked with toilet paper. There are also showers. Parking is limited and there are HUGE potholes all over so be careful of this obstacle course!!!! Also, a number of homeless are dotted around the perimeter of the road leading to the beach areas but have never been an issue for our family but be AWARE.... we try to leave valuables at home and are sure to lock up our vehicles. There is a McDonald's and a couple of convenient store close by however I recommend shopping before hand if can....

This place is beauty and a beast. The turquoise water is beautiful and super IG/snap worthy, although the waves are not for the weak and definitely not for snorkeling. Great place to surf and boogie board. Sand is super soft. It's hidden in a forest , away from main road, perfect area for hanging hammocks. Ideal place for photo shoots and taking super long beach strolls. One of the many beaches that actually has a lifeguard on duty.
