Cant say enough about the Aloha from Dan! I ordered two boards, one for my daughter (a 7'6" fun shape) and one for me (the 7' 6" Rusty "Big Cat"). The boards were at our hotel (Turtle bay Hilton) before we ever even arrived!

Now, anyone who is a "big guy" like me (I am 6'1" 260!!) that is an experienced surfer should go online and check out the many reviews of the Rusty "Big Cat". This board catches waves INCREDIBLY well (more like a long board) and carves like a 6'8"! The fact that Dan even HAS this board available means that I will never go to anyone else. I surfed Kaisers at about chest to head high on this board and got to a point where I was insisting on giving others waves that I was in position for because I actually felt guilty at my wave count and how easy I was catching waves! (Again, I am 6'1", 260#!!).

Also, (check THIS out:) I had called Dan in the AM when we were checking out of Turtle Bay because I realized that there was a swell south side. Dan was going to have the boards picked up at Turtle Bay that early afternoon but i explained that I wanted to surf Town and not have to drive all the way back to drop the boards off. Dan accommodated us by arranging for me to drop the boards of at the Ewa Beach location! We were so stoked!

Again, cant say enough!! I have been flying boards with me to Oahu on all these trips and had my reservations about "renting". Now, I will never even consider taking a board on the plane!!

Dan is the man! I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but my experience with Hawaii Surfboard Rentals LLC is nothing but positive! If you want a quick and seamless surf board rental delivery service, look no further!

From start to finish, the process of renting a board from this company was smooth and easy. You go on the website, fill out a google form and then get an email or text from the company. Dan was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. Plus, you get to choose what kind of board you prefer. Dan takes into consideration the location you’re in and the closest beach and makes a recommendation for the type of board based on distance. The prices for the rentals were also very reasonable, especially for someone like me who wants to rent a board for a week and surf on my own time without having to consider the hours for the surf shacks. I was also impressed with the speed of the delivery service. The board arrived exactly when promised and was in excellent condition. Plus, Dan makes sure that you have wax!

Having a quality surfboard quiver for a safari on Oahu is a no brainer. Dan's selection of Surftech boards not only gets the job done but mimics my own quiver of boards. I start out on a familiar surfboard and I don't have to learn new characteristics and waste time trying to figure out how a boards rides or trims - I hit the water surfing with big wave counts.

Additionally by renting from Hawaii Surfboard Rentals I save the hard knocks of traveling with my own gear and the expense of shipping it. To be blunt I think most Airlines hate surfboards and more often than not the boards I travel with have paid for it. Dan delivers and picks-up the boards directly to and from your hotel, and he can usually tell you if the hotel your staying at has a secure board storage area - this is very helpful especially if they don't, and you have to keep the boards in your room.

I would also like to mention that Dan knows Oahu and surfing, he is a big reason my trips to Oahu have been so successful with high wave counts and a whole lot a fun - ask him questions about board selections and where the waves are - he is on it and if your willing to travel he will direct you to the hidden gems of surfing all...
