Hello Two Step Bakery,

On Sunday, we drove to Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park and spent a few hours there. On the drive back up the hill we discovered your roadside bakery stand. We found all your items were sold out at that point.

So the next day we drove back to Captain Cook hoping to see The Painted Church. On the way there, we noticed your stand was full of baked treats for sale. We simply had to stop!😯😲😮

Right after driving away, I couldn't resist eating one of your Lilikoi mochi confections (I'm crazy about Lilikoi!).

The next morning my wife ate the Ube Mochi and shared the Ube Cake with me. I also ate the Mochi Brownie that I bought for me. All go really well with coffee. So Delish!😋😋😋😋

We hope to see your stand on Thursday as we will try to get to The Painted Church again (we found that they are only open 3 days a week).

Thank you for your delicious baked goods.

Mahalo John and Carolyn...

A wonderful gem that we discovered on our last vacation day in Hawaii! We were en route from Kona to Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park before our red eye flight. Two Step Bakery offered a delicious array of fresh-baked sweet breads, pies, and brownies. Canned coffees were also available in the coolers. Discounts are offered with the purchase of multiple items. It was hard to resist devouring the brownies (both macadamia and Kona coffee flavored). We drove away with a bounty of items which were enjoyed both that afternoon and as treats for taking home to the mainland (e.g.; banana bread, ube coconut cake). Cash and Venmo payments are accepted. I highly recommend swinging by this bakery stand for a homemade treat if you’re...

We stopped this tent on our way to 2 step snorkeling place. The tent can be easily missed, so please pay attention to signs when approaching. The parking is by the shoulder of the busy road, and we have to cross the road, perhaps not a great idea if one party has kids. The sales are based on honest system, and the owner provides vemo codes if short of cashes. Foods are in a cooler. There are also few other things, e.g. earrings made of shells, for sale. The owner also provides free treats such as stickers and fresh star fruits, if one leaves reviews on Google. We had ube sticky rice, it looked and tasted good, very enjoyable especially after snorkeling. Btw, there were forks but I did not...
