Team Lally Real Estate — Local services in Oʻahu

Long story, well, long.

Absolutely adore Howard and Keli'i (and of course, the entire team). They went above and beyond. Although we are still in the process of finalizing selling our home (with them as well), we are overall happy with the entire experience.

We stumbled upon Team Lally when we were checking out a neighborhood for a property we saw on zillow before committing. I saw the "Team Lally" sign outside of the house, and called just to see if we could get some info on it. We were supposed to be working with a different realtor, and was supposed to meet him that weekend (as he said he was available to meet us during that weekend), but ending up, he kind of blew us off, even though he was the one that said he was available! (I understand that he has his own life, but he literally said he was available, and then said "no", didn't even offer to meet us before or after whatever he said he was going to do). So it was a little off putting. I left a voicemail, just to see if we could get a showing for this property with Team Lally, and sure enough, Howard later calls/texts me shortly after and sets a time!

Upon meeting Howard for the initial meeting, he was very on point. He had his presentation, answers to any questions we had, and seemed ( and is ) very knowledgeable, to where we went with Howard, since we never met the realtor we were supposed to work with and had no commitment to him. We opted for the person who communicated better with us basically.

During the process, we met his partner, Keli'i. They are both fun and very enthusiastic about helping us. The service they provided was impeccable. From the late nights of last minute showing appointments, just emailing us info on properties late into the night (when I wouldn't blame them if they didn't after a certain time, because they do have lives), giving us their recommendations on what they believe is fair to offer/ask for on properties, answering our calls throughout the random hours of the day, and so much more!

Their years of service, knowledge and individualism really shows. We learned so much about realty (even though it's probably just a scratch of their knowledge) that we never even knew about! They got us the best deal, and fought for anything until we finally closed. Which is today! We get the keys tonight.

I could go on and on about how they are amazing, which they are, but, just to get this review to a end, I couldn't be happier we stumbled upon them. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. They provided more than just value in our finances, but value in knowledge and getting to know them and the world of realty.

I have just read every review listed here for Team Lally. I always suggest reading each review CLOSELY. I would like to start off by saying we are a military family of 4 that moved here from Alaska in 2016.We had touched base with Team Lally prior to arriving on the island based on another amazing agents suggestion we had in Alaska. Team Lally from the start inquired about what we were looking for and a budget. They even educated us on the market here (which is very unique) before we arrived. When we arrived, we met our agent on day 1 and starting looking at every property we had found as well as ones they suggested that hadn't hit the MLS yet. We looked at properties everyday until we had seen all for sale. I have to see everything before I can make a decision. We saw some amazing homes but couldn't find the exact one. Our agent called us one night around 7 pm to tell us about a property that was above our price range, but might work. He went to bat for us and we were able to negotiate the price down to our budget. If you know anything about Hawaii, this is unheard of. I tell you all of this so when I say they will do their part if you do yours, and they will not give up until you are homeowners.

Fast forward to 2020 and we are due to retire. We reach out to Team Lally a few months in advance to start discussing strategy and what home improvements they recommended. We came up with a game plan and they were able to put us in contact with a trusted source from contractors to carpet cleaners. During one of our weekly discussions (yes they called weekly for a check in), they mentioned a Coming Soon to test the market. They sent out a professional photographer to take pictures, put a sign out front, and listed it as a coming soon just to test the interest. Literally Day 1 we received an offer for an amount that we couldn't turn away. Team Lally and their team was nothing short of perfection during both our buying and selling process.

I would like to offer a few pointers for potential home buyers here in Hawaii. Real Estate agents have a job to do, but so do you as the buyer and seller. Truth is no one is going to care more about you than yourself. This market is a very fast paced one, unlike any other I have seen, and it takes a team effort to make a deal happen. If you are serious about buying/selling, I can't recommend Team...

This is a review for Olivia Lin from a military couple who are first time buyers and used VA loan:

I had orders to move to Hawaii November 2022. My wife was in California and I was stationed in Virginia. I knew I wanted to have a home ready for us as soon as we landed. My wife was hesitant to buy our first home without physically being able to see it in person, but I’m the risk taker and was able to convince her to at least consider it.

I found a property online and called the posting realty company; Team Lally. After answering some questions by their office manager (?), we were put in touch with Olivia Lin. This was at the end of June 2022. We had a video meeting with her and she explained the process in layman’s terms and made it easy to understand. We didn’t seriously begin our search until late July/early August once I got my wife 100% on-board. We strictly looked at properties being posted by Team Lally as we really liked their website and they generally had nice properties. I also cross referenced to other websites and I figured our time would be better spent on their site (most of the time other websites also had their postings but sometimes I couldn’t find some of Team Lally’s postings on other sites). Once we found our property, Olivia made the whole process an ease. Seriously. My wife and I couldn’t believe how easy the process was. Olivia was in constant contact with our loan officer from Navy Federal and the escrow officer from First Hawaii Title Corp. My wife and I would joke that something bad was bound to happen because no way it was that easy to purchase a home. It took about 45 days to close from the time we sent our offer. It could have been less but since we weren’t due to move in until November, I asked Olivia to extend our closing date by a couple of weeks.

We loved working with Olivia and have already recommended her to a couple of Navy friends that are looking to buy in Hawaii. We would recommend her to anyone. She was super professional and a great communicator. She was able to logistically coordinate signing contracts in two different states, and always responded in a timely manner! She was extremely patient in explaining any questions we had. She is also super knowledgeable in VA loans and was able to answer any inquiries we had.
