This is the friendly neighborhood shopping supermarket in Kahalu'u. The clerks are from the area, they are helpful and know the products. Local veggies are abundant and always fresh. Sometimes, I can't find a small kabocha, so I ring the service button and ask them to cut it in half. They will also do it for any large vegetable like cabbage or won bok. I can always count on finding pak choi, small ong choi and other asian vegetables. Some items may be a bit more ($0.10 to $0.20) than if you are willing to drive another 5 miles to a larger store, but this Times always has great sales and coupons in your local Midweek. Love this Times, in the countryside-ish part of Kaneohe, feels more relaxed. They have a seafood counter, baked good area, hot plates weekdays and a pharmacy. I can usually find everything I need to make my family's meals and snacks, plus paper goods, flowers/lei, water to fill up your own 5-gallon bottles, Rug Doctor machine rental, etc. With these current stay-at-home orders, though, some inventory has been sold out for awhile and challenging to find. The store personnel are nice, helpful and hard working, they seem to enjoy working alongside each other too lol! I pray this Times will be here for a long time to come, it's one of the best...
