The price are reasonable with clean shopping area and beautiful select of fresh produce and fresh butcher shop with butcher still cut and prepare meat right there why u shop. This is the 2nd day in a row that I have driven over 30 minutes in an attempt to buy 4 packs of bacon from their store. Do not waste your time going here, if I could give negative stars I would. I have been busy all day and when I finally have time to make the long drive out of my town for a specific bacon this is a common issue. This week they were closed and locked before 8:50pm even though the sign clearly says 9pm. Then make it at 8:45pm and same thing. We told them we only need 4 boxes of a certain bacon (all we get 1 time a month) and they refused to sell it to us during scheduled store hours. I will now find someone else who carries my bacon and get it there. They have lost our families' business for good. I do usually end up with a buggy full when I'm able to make it super early. We just moved to this area and I thought I would just keep shopping Alexandria because that is what I'm accustomed to. BIG MISTAKE!!! I thought I'd just try our Buddy's IGA this morning and it's the best!!! Clean store, well stocked, good prices and did I mention that they have the friendliest young men that bring your groceries to your car for you.
