Burger Inn — Restaurant in Oakdale

I ordered a burger of course. This was my first time trying the place so I could not see what menu items were and nothing was outside for a menu to choose other items to try. From the outside of things I pulled up at the drive through i wasn't aware that it was only for people who called orders in. Since I was not from the area but the lady at the window quickly made me aware. She still allowed me to order so i ordered my burger with out one item. I received it within a few minutes removed it from the brown bag. Where i saw the red and white checkered wrapping. This gave me a old fashioned feel of this burger would be great. I removed it from the wrapper found the item i did not request on it so i removed it. Other than getting my order slightly wrong i would rate this place a ten. Hope if I drive that way again the drive through changes from call in only and that a menu gets handed to you or put up outside. Burger Inn is a Great place to check out. Years ago this place was great, but ever since it changed owners it's been pretty average. The food's good, but not what it used to be. The chicken especially has suffered. It isn't as good as it used to be and has almost no seasoning. And the chicken is pulled from the fryer too early often enough that I rarely order it anymore.

If you're looking for a place to get some good food I do recommend it. I just wish it was still the Burger Inn I used to love.

I noticed someone saying they saw a manager dropping food with their bares hands and that it was a big no no. This person has obviously never managed a real restaurant.

As a manager who moves around a lot, its actually safer to not wear gloves. It's because gloves can make you more likely to move from one station to another and forget to change them. Bare hands makes you wash you hands more often. This is a commonly known fact. So don't be worried if you see a manager not wearing gloves. It just usually means that the manager knows...

Very poor service. We decided to stop here passing through town and didn't want to stop at the regular fast food chains. Food was okay, service was bad. The restaurant itself was very clean and had plenty of seating. We travel through often but will not be stopping here again. When we ordered the majority of the workers were just standing around talking, and their topic was unprofessional. Once our order was placed on the counter two of the young ladies just stood there and continued their conversation, never looking at our order. Another individual came around and picked it up to start working on it after several minutes. One of the ladies actually picked up some rolls and threw them at another employee she was joking around with. Phone was ringing, these ladies couldn't be bothered to answer. Customers came in to order and they didn't help. Seems like they had about 3 good employees working their butts off and then about 4-5 who were rude and lazy.
