Needed a gallon of paint to refresh the walls in our hearth room as we are getting new carpet soon. I brought in a Dutch Boy paint sample Cement Prints from 2002 as I wanted the same color. Yes, it's been 20 years since I painted the walls in this room. Until a year ago, it was only my husband and I the house Now we have a cat. The paint color was no longer available and the first worker didn't know how to use the equipment that "reads" and reproduces the color from the sample. Fortunately a more experienced worker stepped in and gave me a perfect match of the best quality Dutch Boy Platinum Plus. I have tried Behr, Pittsburgh, Sherwin Williams, and Valspar paint over the years and like Dutch Boy the best. The easy-pour container and contents are durable and long lasting. Attached photos are not the best as they were taken while I was seated in a chair being kneaded by our cat.

I'll honestly never understand how people prefer Menards over Home Depot? Home Depot you've got associates roaming every aisle and super helpful. I've had multiple times at Home Depot where associates have gone above and beyond to get an item for me that is not on the shelf but somewhere in back stock, or it's not where it's supposed to be and they hunt it down for me. Just walked out of Menards, I hunted down an associate for about 10 minutes looking for an item- he went looking for it. A different associate came to where I was waiting and informed me it was in stock but they just had a truck come in and the item is tucked away so they couldn't get it right now. Home Depot associates would have found a way to get it for me. Last time I'm going to Menards with this customer service. Just lazy.

I have an old home in St. Paul that’s required endless upgrades, and the kitchen was next on the list. I’m really happy with how it all turned out. I’m grateful for all the help I received from the staff. Deon, JoAnn, and many others across various departments were so accommodating. I had lots of questions, and they consistently offered recommendations that matched my vision perfectly. This store is great, the staff is top-class and I always have a great experience when I'm there.

I have an old home in St. Paul that’s required endless upgrades, and the kitchen was next on the list. This store is great, the staff is top-class and I always have a great experience when I'm there.

Exceptionally poor resolution to customer complaints, and no follow up by management staff of promised returned calls.

We purchased a Maytag washer and dryer from the Oakdale Menard's last month. The washer was in stock, and we brought it home that day. The gas dryer was not in stock, and needed to special ordered. The estimated delivery date was July 4. On June 28th we received an email stating that our dryer had been delivered to the store and that we should wait for a phone call when it was unloaded. We received no phone call over the next day, so we called and were told that it was indeed in the store and we could pick it up. When we arrived at the store, and after 45 minutes, the sales associate informed us that he couldn't find it and speculated that the truck had not been unloaded yet. He informed us that they would call when it was unloaded.

Two days later, we called again to see if had been unloaded, and we were told by a different person that the dryer was not there and speculated that the associate in charge of checking in the delivery had made a mistake, and hadn't physically looked to make sure that everything that was supposed to be there was there. He apologized and promised to look into the delivery date and call us.

Two more days passed and we again called, this time to be informed by a manager that the dryer had come in damaged and had needed to be returned. He said that he did not know where the dryer was in the return process, but that he would look into it and call us back. He also never called back.

Two days later, we sent an email to Menard's on their corporate home page detailing the lack of response or information regarding our order, our frustration at the situation, and asking for clarification because we had received conflicting stories from every individual that we had talked to. We received a three sentence reply stating that they were sorry and they would look into the status of our order. We have not heard back from anyone yet.

I generally do not have a negative thing to say about Menard's. We purchase most of our tools, home improvement, lawn and gardening supplies from the Oakdale store. I am beginning to question whether or not to continue frequenting this business when they cannot be bothered to return a single phone call. I would not have an issue if anyone of the associates or members of the management team had followed up with us at any point within the last couple of weeks. As it stands now, I will certainly not purchase any other appliances there, especially if they need to be...

Wow. Had a horrible experience. Went shoping for supplies for putting gutters on my home and garage as it doesnt have any and loaded up a large cart of everything i needed. All i needed left was a ladder (just bought the old home and didnt have one yet). When i asked one of your employees for help (an elderly gentleman in the back by the doors and locks with glasses and sandy short hair) he looked at me, proceeded to ignore me for a moment by looking at something and writing it down before even acknowledging me, only then to scold me repeatedly (repeatedly!!) for pushing such a large cart around and told me to take the cart back up to the front and leave it there to come all the way across the store again to get the ladder. Mind you i was very curtious to my fellow customers by letting anyone pass before me and making sure i wasnt blocking anything and taking care not to knock into anything. I still obliged your employee by taking the cart back to the front and left it while i retreaved the ladder but his rudeness to me honestly made me tempted to leave my 600+ worth of purchaces there and leave to go to home depot. Decided against it as im sure one of the other employees other then the rude man would have had to put it away and i had everything i needed already. At least the cashier was poliet and helpful enough when checking out. However when i requested help loading everything into my vehicle no one showed up to help me. In fact another curtious customer went out og her way to help me instead. Overall your staff needs serious classes in customer service. Ill probably not be back...

If I could give this store a ZERO STAR i would. I purchased a set of kitchen cabinets 2/27. I was told by store associate in Kitchen cabinets that it was near impossible to get my cabinets pulled that day so i decided to go back the following Monday. When i get there 9 out of the 10 cabinets that i was told 2/27 was in store was in fact “missing” and that Someone would reach out in a couple days after their “inventory team” checked to see if that missing cabinet was just on a different pallet. 72 hours later and no call so i call the store for a status on missing cabinet. Assistant manager or assistant supervisor Allison was the rudest person I have ever encountered. She told me that both orders registered under my phone number had been picked up. HOW THE HECK DOES A SPECIAL ORDER THAT HAS NOT EVEN BEEN RECEIVED IN STORE BE PICKED UP? I forgot to mention that the set of cabinets i ordered had 2 cabinets special ordered and not ready for pick up till 4/3. So how the hell did i pick that order up? Allison goes on about how the gate guard closed out the order as “picked up” and since he is hired through a third party she is not liable for his action. Excuse me? How in the world does this make any sense? I don’t care who you partner with to bring in your gate guards. I just want to know where the heck my cabinets are and how the hell I can get my money back. ...
