It's a Peets, what could go wrong. Well, a couple of things it seems... First: The noise. Every surface in the Coffee Shop is hard and the noise is amplified off them all. It's an open two level design so the noise has lots of room to bounce. It's overwhelming. They really need carpets or something soft on a couple of the walls to tone it down a bit. Second is the odd placement of the Queue for service. Most people get it wrong and have to be told where to queue up. Usually they have to be told by someone on the staff shouting at them because of a the noise. Why not have the queue where people naturally go to queue up? I don't understand. Third: There's a nice patio area in the back of the store with tables and benches. On a nice day it's very inviting. But all the tables and benches are bolted down. There's no way to get comfortable and linger over a cup of coffee. I guess that's the point. It's as if they want you to move on. Imagine that, a big Corporation just wanting your money and then to move on. How can this...

If I could give zero stars, I would. Not only is this Safeway unprofessional, but I have attempted to contact the district manager, Sean Robertson, via Safeway corporate to complain since July 22nd, and no one has called me back. I have called a total of seven times now.

I finally got a customer service supervisor named Kathleen who told me all of my requests for a call back were sent to the store. Now I wonder why I haven't received a call back from Sean and why the store manager, Daniella, can get away with her behavior. Daniella, the store manager, will never be held to account because Safeway from the top down is a mess.

Then the owner replied to my earlier review but never contacted me! You should not post a response implying that you are committed to addressing an issue and still not address the issue.

I will continue to post my disdain for the unprofessionalism I and my family experienced until someone with authority...
