MO barber shop — Local services in Oakland

I came in with the advice of a neighbor to try it out.

Having had one bad haircut followed by another at franchise haircuts parlors. It’s a short story - I have thinning hair, most places finish the haircut by the time I get comfortable in the chair. And often, I leave looking like a balding man not a thinning haired man.

Not at Mo’s - he heard me and provided good feedback on how to get my haircut just right. Also, he let me settle into the chair and the conversation felt like I made a good new friend.

I left feeling like a million bucks and with the feeling that I had more hair on my head than when I came in.

Both barbers (Mo & Neguse) are excellent at their craft. And yes while there may be more people from one region in Africa who come to the shop, recent reviews suggest that they don’t serve everyone.
