I've been a tenant for about a year. Leasing agent Michelle was very professional and was on time for every appointment. I chose a 2 bedroom that seemed newly renovated with a shiny refrigerator and gas stove combo in the kitchen. Plenty of closets, and dedicated parking for my car (there's overflow parking at the closed Wawa next door). I would recommend to choose your apartment carefully; there's a mediocre mexican restaurant next door that occasionally gets loud drunks in their parking lot. There's a pretty decent chinese restaurant across the street, and if you want culture the Ritz theatre is a block away. Downtown Oaklyn is within walking distance. There are train tracks a block away but the complex is far enough that I don't get bothered by the occasional train. The communal laundry room isn't great but there's plenty of laundromats nearby. Heating is via reliable baseboard water pipes and maintenance responds very quickly to texts (as long as it's after 9AM). Monthly rent is slightly under what's currently going for similar 2 bedroom apts. The only quirk is that I cannot find the gardens of Oakland Gardens. All in all, I strongly recommend...
