Ocean Shores Golf Course — Local services in Ocean Shores

Very pretty and lush green golf course situated right by the beach and wraps around by the canal and through the woods. Park-like setting and they’ve done an amazing job accommodating golfers and families during social distancing over the past year. There’s a clubhouse to grab a snack and refreshments by the golf cart rental space and the large driving range. I’ve always seen lots of happy golfers here so I can vouch for saying the only time it’s less than satisfactory is when the weather wouldn’t permit you to play a game. Near the canal there’s also soft spots in the grass during heavy rain season, so watch for potholes. Nice but unreliable. Unfortunately this is the second time in two months I called ahead to confirm the driving range would be open only to arrive and find the facilities shut down. I can understand shutting down on a slow day, but at 2:45pm I was told the range would be open until 4pm only to find it closed at 3.11pm. Terrible customer service. Booked a tee time online days in advance. Playing along with me were my parents and their friends. Most of my group was unable to walk the course but are all capable of playing and keeping up. They denied us of golf carts. We were told we would hold up the other golfers if we didn't walk.
