Piggly Wiggly Odenville — Local services in Odenville

1st off they don't take American express. Something I didn't realize until all my groceries were rung up and I was at the register. Since that's all I had on me I had to hold up the line while I walked over to their atm at the front of the store and get cash. Of which, I get double dipped charged on their banks end and mine. So that's $5 down the toilet from the jump. This was my 1st time and sadly, probably my last at a piggly wiggly. I like to try out different stores from time to time hoping they'll provide an alternative to the chore that is shopping at wal mart. But alas, this wasn't to be. Their set up is very similar to Publix where they have high prices on everything but the sale items they use to get you in the door. So naturally those items were mostly the only thing I bought. Or so I thought. I was so embarrassed at holding the line of customers up at the register for so long I ran out of there without checking my receipt. Wasn't till I got home that I realized I got over charged by about $15. So all and all, not a good experience for me personally. I think if you're gonna pay those kind of prices you should just go to Publix where the atmosphere and selection is much better. For me I guess it's back to the soul draining unwashed masses at wal mart for now. Until something better or at least reasonably priced...

I just moved to Odenville from Cullman, and I have to say, I’m shocked at how bad the customer service is at this Piggly Wiggly location. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that customer care is not a priority here.

The store smells like a mix of bad ideas and sweaty teenagers — not exactly the welcoming vibe you want when grocery shopping. Speaking of teenagers, the staff (mostly teens) are the absolute worst. They don’t greet you, they act like you’re a burden for even being there, and I actually heard them cussing loudly right in front of customers. Completely unprofessional.

No one offered help, no one made eye contact, and the whole environment just felt careless and rude. I gave it a chance, but after one visit, I’ll be driving the extra distance for decent service elsewhere. Do better, Odenville...

I love the location of the store but I hate the customer service. Customer service is the most important part of a store to me as a returning customer. But this will be the last time I visit this location. The lady didn't bother to speak as I am the customer. I shouldn't have to speak to you first. Then the bell peppers did not ring up as they were advertised. She says that's the rate for them..no ma'am. This is the only place that sell bell pepper that high for that amount.
