The Attic of Oil City — Local services in Oil City

I absolutely adore a crowded thrift store, but this place takes that to the extreme. The store smells like someone smokes 5 packs a day inside, there are cobwebs and dirt on products. You can't see many of the things on the shelves, because there are tables with skirts blocking them, and kind of just piles of things you have to climb over. Couldn't find prices on most anything I picked up. What I did bring to the counter, the proprietor said "$5" for every item, indiscriminately. One was a set of cardboard pop-cap type chips, that yes, had collectible written on them... and was only 5 of the 8 chips. Therefore not very valuable. Found a baggie of postcards that DID have a pricetag- except then, the lady ringing me up said that that wasn't THEIR price tag. If you don't want to sell it for that price, maybe remove the stuff that says it is that price.

I'll give most places a chance, but I couldn't get out of this store fast enough. I genuinely do hope their huge sale works out for them, because they need a huge overhaul...

Worst place for prices don't ever take anything their to sell cause they rip you off and sell your item for twice as much some times three times more than what you sold it to them for ....... Worst lack of people skills that I've ever in my life experienced in any business.... I'll never send anyone their nor recommend anyone their its horrible honey I would rather go to 257 pawn shop than the Attic and that's saying alot cause 257 really isn't that much better with their prices but at least they know how to communicate with the customers and the guy that owns 257 pawn he at least will bargain with you on the prices... They are good...

Bob's a good guy and if he can help you he will.If you need money and have something worth money?bring it to him he'll give you a fair price, remember it's used so your not going to get $50 for something you paid $50 for doesn't matter if it's new or unopened look on eBay and see what your item is going for and you'll get around that.He won't sell you junk and he won't buy junk,so if you look at it and would buy it?chances are...
