Yaquelin as a sales associate is impressively patient and professional. The one thing I didn't like, which I'm sure is a store policy and in no way a reflection of the sales personnel, and that is the upselling of "necessary" components for the phone which keep adding up. My advice to the customer is to get everything laid out in advance of approving the transaction--all on the table in front of you and not presented to you piecemeal. First there's the "free phone" which then you find out you have to pay the tax on. Then there's the required first month's insurance, then there's the shatter proof cover, then there's the camera lens cover, then there's the car charger, and the charging blocks for both car and wall charger, and on and on and on and on.... When this started making me nervous I backed out of the deal, which I was told I had 30 days to do-- so I did it that visit. Look, I'm already leery of Verizon--I've had some real bad experiences with them and I don't trust them generally speaking. It was unclear to me that I would have to re pay a restocking fee. I said I didn't want to pay that but they charged me anyway, after telling me they'd "reverse it." My suggestion is that the store make that clear when they tell you that you can return anything in the first 30 days. I went for an in store pick up and Sean ended up not talking to me about what was going on and went into my account without authorization !! It was a unique request, but Sarah left no stone in turned or solution explored until we solved the problem. She went way above and beyond, it was not a simple problem to solve.
Most folks would have shrugged their shoulders and turned me away saying, “Sorry don’t know what to tell ya.” Case in point, Sarah was the only one working in that store that day. I had also gone to T-Mobile who had three employees on the floor, couldn’t get past the initial question of what I needed. I was in and out in 3 minutes without a solution.
