I haven't been there. My taxi driver had this phone from 11:08 Friday night until about 6:45 Monday evening. He took my phone, all the cash I had AND called the police after he HEARD the gift card company tell me what my balance was. He said that he ran the card and that it would not swipe for even a lesser amount. So despite my best efforts to pay him, I was taken to jail over a $12 dispute which cost my family about $400 once we got a bondsman. I have already been to one court date and must go to another one on the 30th over the same violation. Just so you don't use them it is Green Taxi. I don't remember the arresting officer's name or the name of the female in charge of kicking my artificial leg like a kickstand so that she could roughly and too intimately search my crotch area??? Funny because there was a man next to me on the ride to the jail who did not get frisked the same way that I did. Must of been his pile of c-notes that he checked in with.
One more fun fact- they kept me in a disgusting holding cell with urine and toliet paper all over the floor and I was the only female out of twenty other females who didn't get to change out of her street clothes despite me asking repeatedly as my pants got soiled from the spillover on the jail floor. I also was told that I could not have my seizure medicine...until my bondsman called the facility A FULL DAY after I had missed my prescribed dose. I could easily have had a seizure and sustained life threatening injury on the cold and hard county jail floor in Oklahoma County.
One more fun fact-- the police kept asking me if I had anything of value to give to the taxi driver. They demanded that I give the driver my cellphone, which was brand new and untapped at the time. The cab driver took my phone and my money and the Edmond police STILL took me to jail. 2days and $400 poorer and without a phone-- later I was released to the street. My mother sent an Uber for me and as I was pulling off in a torrential downpour, one of the women (who wouldn't even acknowledge me when I spoke to her in front of her fellow prostitutes) asked me to give her a ride home which was totally out of my way. She said that she would pay me once we got there. Because of the rain, I obliged only to have her run hurled into the night as soon as we arrived at her alleged apartment. Am I the only one who thinks that I received a total perversion of...
Read moreGREAT, LOVE. LOVE THIS TACO TRUCK!!! I love street tacos. I went to a taco truck that I had seen doing a lot of business everyday, but when I arrived it was way to busy and the wait was over 45mins to receive food. So I gave up and was going to settle for brick and mortar tacos, but on my way there I spotted Taco truck in Grant Square parking lot, so I took a chance, and I AM SO GLAD I DID. The tacos are amazing and service was quick and the people were so nice. I will never buy street tacos from anywhere but here. I crave their tacos and have gone once or twice a week now for them. ...
Read moreFood, a thrift store, Family Dollar, Aaron's & a Lot more... All really convenient. What's not to like? It could use a cosmetic update & a newer parking lot, but for its location & convenience for the nearby neighborhoods it's great & I'm thankful for it! I will give a Word of Advice: this isn't located in the 'best' area (nor the worst!) so please use Common Sense, especially after dark. Just be Aware of your Surroundings, & the drive up ATM has been (rarely) known to be a Target for robbery. I've never had or even seen any issues & I go at all "open" hours with &...
