I saw Naylamp Peruvian Restaurant featured on Facebook on the Okie Dokie Foodie page. My husband and I are always wanting to adventure out and try new culinary foods. So on March 24th we celebrated our 20th anniversary and chose to drive an hour and half to OKC to try this delightful little place! First let me tell you this place is an amazing culinary delight of flavor to the taste buds, as well as to the aromas of sumptuous smells that tantalize the senses. The artistry display of each dish is truly a masterpiece to the culture of great cuisine and pleasing to the eye! The owner Samara Zambrano is a very kind and delightful person she takes great pride in her culture and business! We will definitely be returning to this charming little jewel of the Peruvian world on our next trip to OKC and bringing friends and family!

Very delicious Peruvian food! I was going to get the ceviche, but the Lomo saltado was calling to me. I also got their tamale and a flan to finish it all off. The tamale was delicious! Steaming fresh, nice amount of corn dough and the meat blended in it was so tender. Had a nice hot pepper in the middle too and came with a nice onion, cilantro mixture and Verde sauce. The main dish, the Lomo saltado, was a nice beefy stir fry over some fries and came with delicious cilantro fried rice. The juice was beefy and salty over the fries and the meat was tender. I think the fresh flavor of the cilantro rice paired well. The flan was a nice, cool sweet dessert that had a coffee taste to the sauce it was drenched in. A nice bold and sweet dessert to finish. I'll have to come back for their ceviche!

This Peruvian restaurant was hidden away and in a very unattractive area, but it was DELICIOUS. This is food from South America fool of flavor featuring a good variety of seafood, chicken, and meats options. If you haven't tried food from Pery I suggest you give it a try and go back to see what else you can try. The restaurant itself is very small but the food is delicious. Hopefully you enjoy the unique ethnic food experiences away from the monotony of the ubiquitous Tex-Mex eatery. This place would be a GEM & Gold mine if it was in a better location. They are open 7 days a week from 11am till 8pm and 9pm on the weekend.

Tried it for the first time today though I've driven by for years. The food itself is good to very good (not great if you're familiar with the cuisine). Saying that, I'm adding a star for the laid back atmosphere and unbelievable nice owner/staff. I had the aji de gallina, daughter tried the arroz chaufa (Peruvian Chinese fried rice if you will) and my son limited his foray with their kids plate of roasted chicken drumsticka and French fries with a sliced hot dog weiner on top (?).

I believe we were their last customers of the night and the chicken had been drying out all day. Flavorful but chewy. The rice was very good, and the lime/cilantro sauce they included is one I'll try to replicate at home.

The best part was how relaxed and charming the two women were who served/prepared our meal. As a prior reviewer noted, we also enjoyed hearing one sing while cooking. Both couldn't have been more helpful, though I'd say they put my long forgotten Spanish language skills to the test. We all agreed we'd return, probably earlier in the day and try something new off their menu. A hidden gem on the south...

I tried this place for the first time with a friend and we loved it! I had no idea what to expect going into this, but so glad that I did. From the outside it does not look like much, but don't let that deter you from trying the food. The smells upon walking in are amazing! I am very new to Peruvian food so I know little to nothing about it. I went on my friends suggestion and got the Tacu Tacu and it was so amazing. I loved the combination of flavors. The fried egg on top is not usually something that I do, but it was perfect with the steak and the rice and beans pancake. The fried plantains were so good and the fresh avocado mixed perfectly with it. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other yummy dishes that we smelled going to other tables. The service was great and we did not want for anything. The price was great for what you get. as I stated please do not let the age of the building deter you from trying it. The inside is clean and the food and the service were great. Would recommend and will...

This restaurant is a gem hiding away. The food is amazing and played like a high end gourmet restaurant. The flavors meld together to form a symphony on the taste buds as well as performing well as solo acts. We stayed with the mussels appetizer, which was a wonderful treat with a spicy build up of flavor and amazing crispy roasted corn in the pico salsa topping. The slow fried chicken released a savory tender meat within a snappy lightly salted crunch crust. The egg over steak over a rice with plantains and avacado paired so well with an ability to change up the flavor profile with every bite by changing the combinations of items on your fork. Apologies for not using the names of the dishes. Maps is occupied with my review and I did not exit to find the fish names, which is a huge disservice on my part.. Highly recommend trying this Peruvian jewel of...
