My mom and I recently worked with Northern Services on a major plumbing project, and we were very pleased with the service and expertise they provided. My mom had a collapsed pipe in the front yard due to tree roots, which resulted in a backup in the basement. Northern Services was there within an hour after we called, which was after 5:00 p.m. The staff assessed the situation and did what they could that night, but a larger project was required to repair the pipe. They came back the following evening after completing a 12-hour project earlier that day to provide us with solution options. The following Saturday evening, we called to ask about cleaning options, and they provided an excellent recommendation that evening. We were able to begin the cleaning process with A-1 Cleaning the following Monday morning (July 3). This was a very stressful situation and Northern Services communicated every step of the way during the planning process, which we appreciated very much. The solution to repair the pipe and reconnect the water was implemented very competently and professionally with limited impact to the basement, front yard and street. They coordinated with the city as needed and let us know of some funds available through a city program, which was very helpful. They completed the project leaving the yard, street and basement cleaned up nicely. All of the people involved were very polite and courteous and we would not hesitate to work with Northern Services again! Highly recommend...

I called northern services about a serious water pressure issue, Steve was the first to arrive, very professional and friendly. He figured out our in home water filter was plugged due to the old pipes we had and water heater (original pipes and heater from the 80s lol) he fixed the current issue, with that being said he also informed us it's probably for the best if we also go ahead and replace the pipes and heater or we are going to consistently have plugged filters( which we knew was coming sooner or later there was no pressure from him to do so however) then Greg arrived (very friendly and professional as well)with some options for us to pick from that fit our budget, so we went ahead and signed up for new pipes and a water heater. They came back two days later and completed the job in one day! I highly recommend them for your plumbing service needs or HVAC or anything else you may need done that's within their scope. From the office ladies to all the technicians that came to our home, very professional and friendly, they make sure everything is the way you want it and it's up to not only their standards but also YOUR standards.

I'd never recommend this company to anyone. They came to fix a leak in our upstairs bathroom. Not only did they wreck our toilet lid, the toilet started leaking again the day after! We had an old clawfootbath tub with a drain that needed to be fixed as well. They "fixed" it for us. The tub started leaking again about a week later in the spot that was "fixed" and IN A DIFFERENT SPOT. Our carpet and flooring was soaked. We called them to come in and check it out. Some old man came over and looked at it and told us that their work wasn't the cause but they would fix it at a rate of 80 bucks an hour which would have been fine if his first quote hadn't been 75 not five minutes before. He said our tub was shot and they needed to bust it into pieces and haul it out and have them install new flooring and a new tub. We called another contractor the next week and had him come in to fix everything Northern had done improperly. The new contractor charged us 50 bucks an hour, plus he fixed all of our drains fast! NORTHERN IS A JOKE! Don't let them anywhere near your house, unless you have a lot of money to "flush". They are over priced, un-professional, and they are, without a doubt in my mind, total rip-off...
