Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Olivia

If I could give zero stars and still leave a review, I would most definitely choose that option. Ordered through the app for pickup on 3/22 at 12:55, I chose for my order to be picked up at 1:15. I arrived at DQ at 1:08 and went inside. At this point they hadn't even started my order and the drive thru was backed up 7 vehicles deep and they too were sitting and waiting and waiting. I let them know I was there for a pickup order. There were 4 workers that were "working" but sluggishly and it was straight chaos and no one knew what orders to make or fullfill. I was told when the order pops up on their screen the 5 minute timer starts for them to get a mobile order filled. I proceeded to stand there until 1:23 as I kept getting overlooked and ignored that I was still there. I let them know I was still waiting for my food, the guy handling the drive thru yelled back saying the mobile order was still waiting for her food (5 double cheese burgers and 4 regular fries). The "cook" responded with "we aren't supposed to start those orders until the customer arrives". (I had already been standing there for 15 minutes at this point). Finally got my food at 1:33. During this whole time I was in there waiting there were 2 chicken strip meals sitting in the warmer the whole time, that's 25 mins of not fresh food at this point and some body at some point ended up with them. What a joke this place is! If you plan on wanting to wait for 30+ minutes for "FAST FOOD", by all means go here if you want to be very disappointed. If you want a real meal and not wait that long, go somewhere else and actually get good respect and service! Genuinely gross. Someone not in uniform took our order. She looked sick. She was coughing quite a bit and also wiping her nose often. Also, she also did not wash her hands after wiping her nose with her hand and then wiping her nose on the collar of her shirt before making our blizzards. Also didn't wash her hands between the bites of food she was taking between giving out food and taking orders. I also watched her pull something out of one of her back teeth and then hand us a cup for water. She was nice and pleasant, but clearly not trained for food handling and should have not been working.

Hope the owners watch the cameras from 6:30-7pm...

It's was dumb to wait 20 mintues just for 2 cheeseburgers, pretzel sticks, 2 boxes of 6 PC chicken strips with soggy fries and I asked for one with country gravy and didn't get it instead they put bqq in both. And they dropped the frist box of.l chicken strips when grabbing it off the floor the employee looks at the cook in the back asking him what to do with it. Like seriously this is why people should be better trained with fast food and to know common sense when it comes to dropping things on the floor and to get orders out in a timely matter. Cuz people don't want to wait forever and get old and soggy food. Not going to this dairy...
