What can be said about Galactic Games and Things? Well quite a lot actually. The store owner is a very well accomplished business man and knows how to keep attracting customers back. A really friendly guy who takes care of his customers The Magic: The Gathering tournaments are rather fun and the people are always friendly there. No one gets angry or verbally aggressive, and over all it runs smoothly. There are many comic books to choose from and also figurines to collect. The store also has many table top games to further your gaming experience. It also has plenty of board games to choose from so one simply does not get bored. If there is a game or figure you want, then the owner can try to get it for you. Gift wrap unfortunately not available. All in all the best place to play MTG in southern Illinois. 12/10 would visit again

TL;DR: Best nerd and geek store to go...

The owner was prepared right from the beginning of our entry to offer us masks as we had forgotten ours in the hurry to get to the place, so knowing he was prepared so we didn't have to go back just for our masks and then back again to the store was good business acumen on his part. Furthermore, he was adept at seeing to my needs and the reason for my stop at his store with ease, and managed to set us so at ease we bought more than planned for this short excursion. The store was plenty clean and neat, and I look forward to the day when the self imposed halt to fri nite MTG Game Nites is lifted and I get the chance to play in their fairly large back rooms all set with tables n chairs and geared for magic or other gaming I'm sure as well; overall for being in lil nothing burg of olney Galactic Games & Things is great to have, and right around the corner from...

This place is a really cool place 😎. Really good selections an if they sell it an dont have it they can possibly order it for ya 😀 lots of paint selections models of different kinds. Me an my son are getting into Bolt Action a ww2 table top game. They even have events to teach you how to play tips an tricks. They'll even try help set you up with beginner sets an info. They're pretty knowledgeable on all genres. They sell videos games an consoles of sorts as well. Lots of awesome comics currently getting my son the godzilla vs marvel series 👌. They sell trading cards but hurry while they last ! I've seen when new stuff comes in an boom gone ! There are room where you can game table top.
