El Cactus Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Olney

The host was very rude we were finally seated and it took us over 15 minutes just to order our drink. Then it took forever to order our food. One of the members of our party found a hair in their food we are unclear if it was hers for the staffs. One of the waiters physically moved one of our children out of their way by putting their hands on their shoulders and pushing him out of the way. They brought one person the wrong plate so almost everyone else was done eating when they finally got their food. The food was decent the chips tasted almost stale the cheese tasted burnt. When we were all finally done we sat there waiting on our check that never came. We had to go up front to receive our bill after paying 4 hour food we got told they left two items off of our bill and explained we needed to pay for them. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I've never had a bad experience at a Mexican restaurant ever...

I can't believe I never reviewed this place. I went out for dinner with my husband and a couple of our friends a while back here, and would never return. My husband ordered a margarita, and offered me a sip. I put my ID on the table so the waiter could easily check it and see that I was old enough to drink (24 years old), and when he saw me take a sip, he ran over and started yelling at us, threatening to call the police. My ID was right there on the edge of the table, and I tried to hand it to the waiter so he could verify my age, but instead of taking a single look at my ID, he kept yelling, even pointing at cameras in the corner, saying he had footage and would call the police. The server embarrassed me and my friends in front of a busy restaurant for no reason. I would never give this business a single cent...

The food here is delicious. Absolutely no complaints on that, they are also timely. The only negative I have experienced in the dozen times I have been there is; I order only one thing ever. I found my favorite so I continue eating that, the Cactus Fajitas. I only get three tortillas for that huge amount of food. I can ask for more and they are no additional charge which is great. But, I have to eat on the road from time to time and I sometimes only get two tortillas for my food. I can't really ask for more because now I'm 20 minutes away.

Extra tortillas is all I ask. Otherwise I agree with the overall rating of 4.4 out of 5 is what I saw. Really, I'd probably give it 5 stars...
