Pizza Fast — Restaurant in Olney

I heard this place was recently bought by someone new, and I hope that's true, because I have never been treated so poorly by an establishment. They double booked my 6 year olds birthday party, but allowed us to pay ahead of time without giving us this information. We show up and another party is setting up and the young girl working behind the counter just laughed in our faces about it. We got a manager on the phone, and he wasnt willing to resolve the issue either. He was on vacation, and there was not a single adult to speak to on the premise. Thats insane to me. On a sunday, where we cant even get our money back on our card to go somewhere different.This used to be a great place. I've done at least 2 parties before this, for my kids, and I will never give a dime to that place again. & the public really shouldn't either. We reserved the room 3 weeks early, and paid for $150 in buffet the night before so everything would be set & we walked into a catastrophe, with no resolution.

There were no tables reserved for us. The public was taking up the rest of the back room while this other party had already set up. Again none of this information was ever communicated to us until now. Long after the fact. & they tried to convince us that they could feed both parties, and the public when they can't keep up with the buffet on a normal night. Sorry excuses. Pizza Fast, what can I say that the name hasn't already. It is a pizza buffet in downtown Olney IL, adjacent to the post office and next to a tiny park named Bower Park. It has a great selection of pizza. Namely the big mac pizza. It has a salad bar, and you can order your own personal food. Great deal for the price! Food was good & the buffet was well worth the $4.99. I was impressed with the Big Mike pizza it really tasted like eating a big mac. The bbq pizza with the bacon was my favorite. I enjoyed the spaghetti as well. The sauce was quite tasty. I can't say the salad bar was fabulous but it was adequate.
