My experience with Maddie Brown Entrepreneur CPA or Conscious CPA/Loess Hills Accounting was, in short - a complete disaster. They were hired to do my monthly bookkeeping and annual tax returns for 2013, 2014 and 2015. They were also supposed to do my tax planning, monthly reports and phone calls. They did the bare minimum and what they did was erroneous, sloppy and late. I paid them $3-4k per year to do this simple work, yet their negligence resulted in thousands of dollars in fines and penalties on my tax returns for each year. Maddie's staff are immature, inexperienced and unqualified. Maddie herself seems to spend the majority of her time spamming me with affiliate email scams instead of paying attention to my books. They also over-billed me and double-billed me consistently. It is incomprehensible that she calls herself the "Conscious CPA". I was the one always telling her what to do and reminding her of deadlines and asking for the status on my returns and bookkeeping. She has ruined my finances and wasted so much of my time and money. I strongly, strongly regret hiring her firm. They are completely irresponsible, negligent, incompetent and also rude. Maddie should be stripped of her license in my opinion.
