This is the only grocery store in Onawa so there is no compation and the prices are rather high. Also I recently have noticed that there seems to be a reduction in the quality of fresh produce such as vegies and fruits. Also with products being sold that are beyond their best use by date. I have noticed, for instance, that the dairy products don't seem to be rotated. For ibstance you might find a carton of milk stamped with a best if used by date of 3/27/17 in the front and behind thatin several cartons find a best by date of 3ly /24/17. However most employees are verm certay friendly and very helpful. The selection is pretty good considering it is a small town...

Employee actually cut in line to pay for his chicken, was unapologetic and then decided to chit chat with the cashier for an extended period of time. Oh and let's talk prices.
