2023: This is the first time I've ever been to Stater Brothers. This one is on 3460 E. Ontario Ranch Rd. Ontario. The store inside is immaculate, customer service is more than excellent and the customers are pleasant. They have some decent prices, some items are on the higher side but good quality, I will be back when I want a nice stress-free shopping experience. Other stores I've been to (Smart & Final), will REFUSE to bag my groceries because I am Male but here, they bag Will your groceries for you and give you excellent customer service no matter who you are! A+ Stater Brothers!
UPDATE 5/26/25 @ aprox. 10:00 pm. My family and I still like shopping at this location however maybe time for customer service training for cashiers. @ 10:00pm in express check out I made a purchase and was Not asked if I needed a bag, I asked the checkered question & she ignored me to talk non-business to the customer behind me and totally ignored our transaction, (female black hair approximately 22 years old), well ok but, she then asked the customer behind me that she seemed to be enamored with if he would like kids grocery's baged. Admiration/flirtation is fine but Not at the expense of others Customer Service. I am as well am a paying customer so this is unacceptable and I hope it does not become an ongoing issue in this store. Please educate or continue to educate your employees so that this Stater Brothers can continue to provide excellent customer service like the public has become used to and thank you for taking the time to read this, it us greatly appreciated.
UPDATE AGAIN 9/5/2025, again SAME employee did not bag my groceries However She Did bag the female customers groceries in front of me. I'm a senior citizen with back Issues that's why don't shop at "Food 4 Less", to be fair this employee is very pleasant however she just refuses to provide 100% customer service, at this point we've just decided to start shopping at Ralphs Market. Read moreThe Cashier in Market Place are very rude .we bought fried chicken it took us almost 10 minutes before someone attended to us and they are two people in the counter .the lady in charge was very rude they run out of box i told them to put it on plastic ,they said to wait to for 10 minutes .I told them to put it on plastic’s,and she said no in a rude manner ,there was fried chicken in the warmer available she said to wait for a new fried chicken.i told her its fine i told her its okay still she refuse ,we been waiting for almost 15 minutes for a box finally she gave me the chicken and she put it in a plastic,The line was long people where waiting for order ,she was very stress and was giving attitude to her customers ,she even told me in a rude manner you cannot pay her go to counter ,We did nothing wrong we just want to order chicken ,we always go to different Stater here in Inland Empire people in the Market Place are very friendly and accommodating,This is the first time I encounter this cashier or server in MarketPlace .I will never buy again in that Market Place .I will tell my friend not to go to Stater in that location.Hopefully the Managers will educate her the proper way to be nice to customers.Customer are the bloodline of every business .The Time of Transaction 5:30 to 6:00 pm July 15,2023 .We really liked this stater it is near our Place .But with what happened we will not set foot on that...
