This is my favorite Starbucks in the area. The staff is wonderful and the drinks are usually really good.
The only problem I have had is that there is a large local group from the track of homes nearby that bring in their kids (ranging from 3-11) that take over 90% of the inside dining area. It wouldn't be bad, in fact I thought it was super cute from the outside the first time I pulled up to see all the parents and kids together. But they let the kids run screaming around like maniacs in a McDonald's Play Place. The kids crash into you even if you're pressed up against the pickup counter and then the parents get offended at you like you are in the way. The noise makes it impossible to order, and unbearable to be in for just the time to get the drinks. Plus because you can't hear in there the parents leave their orders on the pickup area for long spans and then come over and just randomly start touching any drinks on the counter even if it's right in front of you off to the side.
The staff are always super patient about it but it's got to be stressful for them. They are trying to take orders inside and through the drive thru and are having to ask other customers to repeat their order. Their counters get super full. And even without a pandemic still circulating, letting kids scream and exert themselves that much in a small enclosed area during cold and flu season is so rude to the employees and the other patrons. I have kids and worked at a family orientated tourist spot for over a decade, kids have weaker immune systems and carry a lot of germs. So they are covering every surface and item in that store with germs when they are running screaming at the top of their lungs and panting all over the service counters. Read moreI've been to this Starbucks location twice, and I really like the atmosphere. I also like the size of the location because it provides a lot of seating. It's a great spot for coworking or working remotely. The last time I went, I ordered ahead on the app and was expecting my drink to be ready by the time I arrived, (which was about 5 minutes after ordering) but my drink was not on the counter when I got there. I figured it was just a busy day, so I decided to just find a seat and start working while they prepared my drink. However, I noticed tha several customers who came in and ordered in the store after I had arrived ended up getting their drinks before mine was even made. I think it took about 15 minutes for my drink to finally be placed on the counter. I figured there might have been a mix-up in the orders, so I didn't make a big deal about it, but it definitely knocked off star on this review.
