This place opened up recently next to Starbucks in the same plaza as Rodeo X. They have a large variety to choose from. It is set up as a self serve bar to choose ingredients then give the bowl for them to weight and cook it. They have various types of noodles, meat, seafood, fish/meatballs, and vegetables. They have soft tofu, fried tofu, spam, various types of meatballs. They have lotus roots, tomatoes, baby corn, various mushrooms, and several types of greens.

It's $13.99 a pound, and you can have it with broth or dry. They have a tomato broth and beef broth with various heat levels. Their medium beef broth has a good heat, not too salty too. I chose to get a bowl of slices of spam, fishball with roe, lotus roots, chrysanthemum leaves, bok choy, wide glass noodles, quail eggs, and fried tofu.

They also have a table to make your own dipping sauce with oyster sauce, black vinegar, chopped garlic, chopped chili, cilantro, and sesame sauce.

Love the concept of YinTang Spicy HotPot as you are able to customize your own hotpot. They offer a large variety of ingredients to add to your dish (meats, seafood, noodles, mushroom, tofu, fish ball and veggies). Since they charge by weight, you have the ability to add as much or as little as you want to the dish. Once you've collected all the desired toppings to the dish, you must choose how you want the dish cooked (soup base or stir fry).

Love that their toppings are of high quality and always fresh. Can't forget the sauce bar to add an extra kick to the dish. Staff is friendly and efficient.

The ingredients are super fresh, the broth is rich and flavorful, and the dipping sauces are amazing — especially the house special sauce.
