Picanha Steak Restaurant — Restaurant in Ontario

My husband and I went to Pichana for their grand opening dinner around 7 PM. Business was a little slow, but the service was outstanding. Every staff member greeted us warmly, and we’re so happy to finally have a great place to eat right across the street.

I ordered the Pichana sandwich on a lightly toasted French roll with chipotle and chimichurri sauces, served with crispy Parmesan fries. My husband had the surf and turf with honey sweet potato fries. The food came out quickly, beautifully presented, and tasted amazing. The staff was also very accommodating when we asked for extra sauce, which was such a nice touch for a pay-and-sit style restaurant.

We thought to try this place out after walking in. Carlos, was behind the counter. He explained what made them different. Talked a bit about his family, and sold us through his enthusiasm and passion. It was no joke. I tried the steak sandwich, and my wife got a kids steak. It may have been twice as much as McDonald's, but at least 100 times better! The flavors did not disappoint. No sloppy grease ball, smothered in cheese to mask the subpar favors. But steak cooked to perfection, medium-rare... Any more than that, would be over cooked. Soft, juicy, and flavorful! A bit pricey, but...

I came here with my dad and we both loved it! I had the Picanha bowl and it was absolutely amazing — super flavorful and cooked perfectly. My dad got the sandwich and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. The food came out fresh, the portions were great, and the staff were really friendly.
