If you have kids and live near this airport just know the a very high likelihood they will suffer permanent neurological damage as a result of exposure to the lead released in the air by these piston aircraft. This was our first time at Auburn University Airport. We were there to see my son, Andrew, take his first solo flight, and we could not be happier about our experience. His flight instructor was extremely kind, and answered any, and all of our questions. Through our conversations that evening , you could tell he really enjoys his job, and it was so evident that he cares for his students, and he's very happy to see them succeed. Everyone working at the airport was extremely helpful and kind, and we so appreciated them.
