Waffle House — Restaurant in Auburn

Every table in the nearly empty restaurant was dirty when I walked in. I asked where the clean tables were and I was directed to one end. I found one table ...kinda clean and it had someone else's hair on it....I had established that I wanted the lady to wait on me...but then a young server with short dreads jumped in front of the lady to take my order.... Telling me the policy is for the servers to take turns... so the young guy with the short dreads on night shift is absolutely clueless. He did not listen at all to me when I made the order and repeated it several times. He brought my food several minutes ahead of bringing the other order. Brought the scrambled eggs and cheese on a separate plate from the bacon..bacon was on such a small plate it was hanging off scrubbing the table...Gross!!!! Then after that he still did not bring toast or grits and he kept talking about hash brown and waffle when I never ordered the first hashbrown or the first waffle.... And after all that had never ever brought silverware...what an idiot... You can keep your crappy service along...

Just has the most insanely awful service at this waffle house. Our waiter, Autumn, answered her personal cell phone right after taking our order. We had to wave her down just to get her to bring us our drinks. She stayed on the phone the entire time we were there. Horrible customer service. She said she had to talk to her veterinarian about her dog, but I heard her on the phone and she was just telling stories about all 3 of her dogs. She should have taken a message. You do not answer your phone while at work. The cook noticed this horrible customer service and didn't at least try to make our experience better. I will never go back here. And apparently people know that she is bad because a couple walked in and then walked out as soon as they saw her. I will never...

Walking into the restaurant it’s a weird smell almost like they mopped the floor with a spoiled mop. Also there was no greeting walking in, just dead silence.

Upon sitting down the waitress come from outside smoking a cigarette and instantly starts touching the silverware she’s bringing to our table. Rushes us to order so she can go continue her cigarette.

Ordered grits and chocolate chip waffles both disgusting. Waffles were rubbery. Grits were hard and cold told the waitress she had an attitude, our food had been on the table for at least 30 seconds and the check came out.

On top of all this the waitress was a skinny older lady with drawn on eye bra and ugly lipstick.

I would not recommend this store to...
