Plow & Hearth Country Store — Local services in Orange

Hey Plow and Heath lovers. I absolutely love this store, especially the outlet. We stopped in the Madison County store 6 weeks ago - close to closing- and had another fantastic experience with two young associates!! We brought fantastic items in less than 15 mins! They were kind and very friendly in their service. This afternoon I called and asked the woman sales associate if she was busy and did have time to talk? Her tone was rude and unfriendly! She repeatedly asked, what was I calling for? I informed of the outdoor furniture and she snapped that I did not have the right phone number. I asked twice for the right phone number of the country store. She gave it too me with an unhappy tone. I thanked her and said have a very happy day. Anyone is sales needs to treat their phone customers the same as their in person customers!!! Or NOT answer the phone! Going south on 29, you'll pass Sheetz, 2.5 miles later is Plow & Hearth, so start looking for it so you can turn off without getting rear ended. You can park in the front or back, depending on if they are having a big tent sale. The Outlet store is hard by 29 and there is a regular store "behind" if you want to pay retail (just in case).

Plow & Hearth Outlet is the manna for catalog groupies for home, hearth, decor, kids stuff & some clothing. And don't forget the Virginia peanuts! It's a crap shoot as to what will be there, so you have to walk around. What is a planned 10 minute stop always turns into at least 30 minutes. So many interesting things for home or gifts! Only downside is no returns and portapotties only...

Not happy with their customer service in letting customers know when products are shipped. I have been waiting almost a week to find out when my Christmas gift was shipped and when to expect it. I finally got online and chatted with a representative. It has been shipped and will arrive in two days, but I was never informed of when it was shipped or when to expect it. I was beginning to panic that the gift might not get here that something had happened. It is all working out, but communication is not...
