Meijer — Local services in Oregon

First of all if there was an option for zero stars I would click that. Second of all, 50 characters isn't enough to begin to tell you about a visit I had today. I went into Meijer today, when I could have easily gone into Kroger, and I first look for my mother in law who works there because I love saying hello to her. She was not working so I went to grab two items that I came into the store for. Those items were coffee filters and Oreos. I go to the do-it-yourself checkout lane and I proceed to check my items out (until I had to switch lanes because it didn't like my chip on my debit card) and not even ten feet from me stands a lady who is supposed to be the eyes for the store making sure people don't steal. Now before I get too ahead of myself, anytime I've gone in, she follows us around the store like a hawk, and you can look my record up, I have never stole a day in my life from anywhere. So because my fiance and I know her we say hello. Her response, in the rudest tone you could imagine, says, "Don't start with me" then proceeds to get on her phone and make a call saying she is watching us because she has "been trying" to catch us. Catch what? So I walk over to her, offended that I heard that, and I waited so she could look inside of my purse. She proceeds to tell whoever, that I am standing right in front of her and If I take one more step closer to her she is going to call the police. Now mind you this is the FIRST time I ever actually spoke to her. I told her "Please go ahead, call the cops. I would love to speak to them about you harassing me in this store for the past 3 years." I walk away and go to a register, because I just got off work and would love to go home at this point. But quite frankly it pissed me off so bad that she was accusing me of stealing that I went and spoke with a General Manager. I explained what happened. He knew who I was, as I am in there all the time because my fiance's mom has worked there for the last 20 years!!!!!! His response is that I "blew her cover." No sir. She blew her own. I know its 2018, but people still say hello to others in passing. So if she is supposed to be undercover then she should Have just said hello and kept on with her job. But no she threatens to call the police on us. So the general manager is going to do nothing about this from what I gather. I seriously can not believe that this even happened. You would think, because EVERYONE knows us there, that they would know we aren't in there to do anything slick. I am beyond infuriated with this situation. She very rude and will accuse you of stealing even tho she watched you checkout then ignore you when you ask why you was getting accused of stealing !!!! Me and my father went to Meijers mind you we go to Meijers everyday I’m definitely a good paying customer well as I’m done shopping we go into the self checkout I had a pack of socks and some groceries the groceries I was paying with ebt and the pack of socks I was paying with my mperks points so I scan the socks I payed $0.00 for the socks cause I had 10 off the checkout lady was standing there watching me she watched me scan the socks and watched the receipt come out the self checkout she come over to my dad as he holding the bag of socks and says let me see your bag and your receipt he shows her the bag she looks in it the proceeded to try to grab the bag and receipt from him and look again she was basically accusing me of stealing but sat there watched me checkout and watched my every move then began to walk away after she just accused me of stealing and I’m like no don’t start something and not finish it cause you embarrassed your self by accusing me of stealing then when I question her about it you want to ignore me then lied and told me somebody asked her to do it I said who would of asked you to do that couldn’t of been nobody watching the cameras because the cameras just seen everything that happened and watched me use my mperks and pay for my item there cameras on the self checkout obviously they can see everything I’m doing !
