I ordered a dishwasher GE profile on 2/10/2025
On 2/14/2025 a delivery/installation crew showed up late dropped off the dishwasher 2 hours after their window and left the dishwasher in my house uninstalled
On 2/18/2024 a Home Depot “emergency plumber” came, took out my dishwasher and installed the new dishwasher..
Upon completing the work immediately said, “this dishwasher is no good it’s going to catch fire”
On 2/18/2025 I called Home Depot who said it was on GE for replacement
GE said it was on Home Depot.
Two separate technical teams came out and said, “it needs replacement it’s going to catch fire.”
Two more teams have come out to collect the dishwasher
Today is 2/28/2025 at 6PM a randomly team just showed up and said, “oh we can’t take this.”
Home Depot.com believes it’s the stores problem because in their words “the stores get all the profits.”
Home Depot the store has spent 5 times the cost of this stupid washer on sending out tech teams to agree it would burn my house down..
We have filed a dispute with our credit card, it’s been 18 days and now home depot claims their policies prohibit taking back appliances
It’s still got its plastic on it..
I still don’t have a working dishwasher and every time I look at this dishwasher in my home it offends me that I’m stuck dealing with this..
No one at any level of the decision tree has enough common sense to say, “well maybe customers don’t want their homes to burn down because of us.”
This company is an embarrassment, everyone who works for Home Depot at every level should riot at the sheer stupidity they are forced to live with.
Ge should stop doing business with them out of concern that they would damage their reputation..
Shame on them..
It’s now 3/6/2024
A new Home Depot delivery team showed up with yet another dishwasher
And with in 10 minutes of being here said, “oh we can’t install it.”
Unbelievable.
I trusted Home Depot to make this right and they messed it up again..
They absolutely are incapable of doing their jobs..
Everyone should be fired for this.
I still have a broken dishwasher in my house and have been defrauded not once but twice now.
Never do business with Home Depot..
As for link below..
Home Depot you do your job and research your mistakes..
You’re not my problem anymore.

3/7/2025 New dishwasher delivered and it’s broken. Sent back for refund..
3/9/2025 More follow up. Spoke with GE, Home Depot misleads customers on return policy GE return policy on appliance is 7 days not 2 days. They have no policy with any supplier or customer that only allows 2 days from delivery. Verified on GE website, and in writing. Home Depot blatantly lied and tried to blame their suppliers for their own greed..

Read moreWe needed a washer and dryer. Ellyn is awesome to work with ti find the right one. She asked all the right questions to help us narrow down to the ones we wanted. She was so knowledgeable. She explained everything and shared great tips and info. After going to three different stores to look at appliances, this was the best deal and service. Also, Christine (hope I spelled it right), the appliance manager, was awesome when I had question at delivery. She helped to resolved things immediately and brought solutions to the table. She called back promptly and was pleasant the whole time.
Edit: After this post, everything went downhill. Since said manager above advised me to refuse both items if any issues, I had refused the dryer which meant the washer was refused as well. Everyone was pointing at someone else for responsibility (manufacturer, Home Depot, delivery, etc.). Finally got the DRYER reordered by Home Depot manager but washer never ordered and so no one had record of it being ordered. The original one was “lost”. Home Depot said it was in the warehouse, warehouse said they didn’t have it (are at least that is what they thought), delivery people said they would deliver it and then decided not to because they can’t split orders. So here is is a MONTH later and I just got my dryer (split order because no washer but they will do it when it is in their favor) but still waiting on my washer. And all Home Depot customer service supervisor could say was he would “escalate” my concerns but he probably wouldn’t hear back for days and that he was then off for two days so I may or may not hear back from him. Never heard back from the warehouse owner who was going to look for my washer. And the Home Depot reps are either super nice or super mean but without any set solution from...
Read moreMy wife and I used Home Depot for a special order patio door and had a TERRIBLE experience. They had someone come out to take measurements. The door arrived and was installed by our contractors. When I got home, I found that they built the door with a 5'10" (70 inch) clearance, rather than the 80 inch clearance it needed to be for the average person to fit through.
They rebuilt the door to spec, which took another month or so, and we were racing against my wife's due date. When the 'second attempt' door arrived, it had been damaged in shipping.
So they rushed a third door and luckily, everything was the right size and in good shape. Unfortunately, I had to pay another ~$700 to my contractors to have it installed again.
Fast forward to today. I have been battling with Home Depot's Customer Service team and Brent (I believe that is his name) from the Lake Orion location to try to be reimbursed the $700 that I had to pay a second time, because of their mismeasurements on building the first door. I am finally settling for a $500 refund, because this process has been going on for several months and I just need to put it behind me at this point. For the time we have lost, and the stress my wife and I have gone through, I was extremely surprised to have Home Depot not be willing to reimburse me for the full amount of the second installation that would have never been needed if they had built the door correctly in the first place. This is not how a company should run their business.
I highly recommend that you do not use Home Depot, especially this location, when you have your next home repair job. Please save yourself the time, money and energy that we unfortunately cannot get back for ourselves. Go to Lowe's or a small...
