You know what? I love these guys so much.

So first of all, let's talk about the food, ok? It's incredible!

Everything is made fresh. Walking in on any given day, you will see the cooling racks full and bathe in the warm smells that lovingly flow forth therefrom. From pasties to apple dumplings, chilis, soups, and OMG the cookies!

The pasties here are notably unique from others I've had downstate. Most have cubed meat and veg, but these guys had the super genius idea to shred the meat and veg so it packs into a crazily dense, tiger-stripey packet of deliciousness. There needs to be a new word to describe it really.

Anywho, besides the food these guys are just great people. I've never got in and out without the health of me/my family being asked about, and I don't believe my son has left without a taste of whatever cookie or confection they've made but not packed.

I ordered online for lunch. I ordered two pasties with gravy. I got the texted saying my order was ready for pick up. The order was not ready and packed as assumed it would be for pick up. I walked in and went right to the register where Afsheen was standing with her head down on her phone. I stood right in front of her for at least 2 min without her noticing even when I made a noise to show someone was there. Another employee ended up yelling for her to get off the phone since there was a customer. She said she knew there was a take out order but didn't get it ready and said sorry. Then she grabbed two cups for the gravies and I ended up with only one in the bag. The food was OK. It wasn't piping hot like I would hope it would be and didnt seem like there was even salt and pepper for seasoning. Customer service...

This place was so phenomenal. Me and my mom went to today and will be going back very very soon. The servive and pasties are both just the best thing ever. Very fresh and hot food. Or you can take them home and make them yourself. Home made everything. Meals for every time of the day. Amazing energy cookies and baked apples. This is a carmel apple pastie which was absolutely to die for and puts apple pie to shame. I had the traditional beef pastie with beef gravy and feel guilty only giving 5 stars. Walked away with home made coleslaw which was perfect. As well as getting to taste test butterscotch energy cookies fresh out of the oven. Great prices for how filling and fresh the food is. You get to feel full without feeling sick. Cant wait to eat my breakfast pasties in the am. If they make...
