MWR Orlando Office — Local services in Orlando

Unfortunately this office is not veteran friendly and has set its boundaries a polities separate from any other ITT office I have used in the past. Normally I purchase our tickets on the Great Lakes Naval Base but found this office near our resort so figured it would be more effective to buy in Florida. Wrong! They would not accept my VA service verification card I printed that had my DOD number, they would not accept my VA proof of disability, they wouldn’t accept a copy of my DD214. Multiple ways I proved my honorable military service and they refused to help an Army veteran and simply told me that policies are different and each ITT office. Well that shouldn’t be the case. The sales girl with black hair told me I could purchase a freedom pass for universal and then when I showed my military Id she said I couldn't because I'm just a dependent. She said she was going to explain to me how the pass works. First when she explained it, I asked her several times and she said I could purchase it. I asked her if I would be the sponsor then add 5 people if the tickets would be under their name specifically she said yes. I confirmed it was unlimited and she confirmed that I had to pick up the tickets at universal and then once I give them to the others that they could use them whenever without me. Called and spoke with an ITT member who stated the store hours and said they closed at 5. I arrived at 4 and they say they closed early bc it was Memorial Day. I drove almost an hour there and an hour back stuck in traffic.
