Seen a truck parked in the weeds way in the back and it caught my eye a few times i went by. I stopped and asked about it and asked if it ran and the owner was there and said im not sure but we can try to start it. I asked him how much and he told me $800 out the door and i said if it runs ill buy it. It was a 2007 chevy avalanche ltz with over 300k on it and all rusted. We jumped it and it started and ran surprisingly good so they pumped the tires up and we did the paperwork and i was on my way home about 20 miles away. As i pulled out it hesitated and jumped a little so i figured it was just old gas so i put some fresh gas in it and continued on my way. I noticed that the oil pressure gauge was at 0 so i just figured the gauge was bad. It wasn’t overheating and I floored it a few times and i started to feel loss of power so i held it to the floor until it died half way home. I guess the gauge was right because that 5.3 was toast and was locked up so i hooked the chain up and towed it the rest of the way home. I wasn’t even really mad because i was just going to use it for parts for my other avalanche. I did a complete middle console and seat swap out of the ltz into my 05. I also got a bunch of other useful parts off of it and scrapped it for $600. I was happy with it. They got the title mailed to them and i picked it up and i had a good laugh with the guys when i told them about it and what i used it for. They were intrigued by what my plans were for the seat swap and were nice enough to give me the seat wiring diagrams so i could figure that part out. I knew what i was getting myself into so i cant be mad but im leaving this 5 star review because the people who worked...

I stopped in on a Saturday around 2:45pm, not expecting them to be open, I just wanted to browse. Landon walks out, asking if I knew what I was looking for, I have a good idea, so I tell him, something a little more luxury. Landon said, I have the perfect car. As we walked into the office area, everyone was leaving for the day. Landon said no problem I'll stay. So we went for a test ride, boy was he right. It was tge perfect car, and a vey infomative salesman. Unfortunately, there was nobody to access my car as a trade, and they were closed on Sunday, so Monday after work was the time for me to trade in my car and buy the new one. Monday I'm excited, I'm trading in my car and getting a new beautiful car. We sit down beginning to do the paperwork, when the program crashes, not allowing anything to be entered in the system..disappointment sets in. Landon suggest I go about the rest of my day and he'll call if the system reboots. By now I'm more than disappointed, I'm defeated. Less than an hour later Landon calls, the system is up but snail slow, so he takes all my information and will call back. It's 5 minutes to 6, he's hoping we get an answer soon. Nope no answer tonight. Landon promises to call me Tuesday morning. It must have been the first thing he did Tuesday morning because he called me stating, we got it, gave me the payment amount, which was less than we estimate. Yeah.. good news. Then, he said your paperwork is ready, you can pick up your new car. Smiles and happiness wash across me. Landons constant communication and sincerity, his willingness to stay and be diligent is the reason I would recommend Reels...

My wife and I bought a Nissan LEAF from Adam at Reel’s Auto. Adam was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, despite it being an electric vehicle - we have been to multiple dealerships where the sales people knew nothing about the vehicle so it was a breath of fresh air to work with someone who knew about the vehicle. Adam was very easy to work with and was extremely accommodating as we were coming from out of town. He was also very upfront and honest with us, there were no surprises through the entire process. Adam made sure the vehicle was pristine when we picked it up and also made sure we had everything that came with the vehicle (charger, charger case, etc). Reel’s Auto gave us a great deal on our trade in as well, they negotiated with us and we were extremely pleased with their offer. In summary, Reel’s Auto, and especially Adam, provided us with a 5-star car buying experience and I would not hesitate to send any of my friends or family to them and would absolutely do business with them again in the future!
