OC Lanes — Local services in Osceola

Had a school bowling event with grade school aged kids. I asked for bumpers on our lane was told no they don't have automatic bumpers. It looked like foam pieces stuffed in the gutters as bumpers. You could see the stack of extra foam in the middle of the lanes. My mother then asked the man in charge and he said no they already set up 2 lanes with bumpers and he had to buy a new roof instead of installing bumpers (ok? No one asked about funds). Of course all these kids were getting gutter balls. We were very disappointed. The man was running around yelling at the kids. Said out loud someone spilled water. Acted so dramatic about spilled water. The whole time him and the girl behind the counter were yelling at the kids for running. He was stressing everyone out and made it not fun. He shouldn't agree to host kids events if he can't offer gutters for every lane and not trip out about spilled water. This was our first time there and we couldn't wait to leave. I hope the school picks a different bowling...

The ball selection was terrible. I could only find one ball that fit my fingers and it's not like I have ridiculously large hands. On top of that our balls kept getting stuck and not returning. It happened 3 times in one game. At first I thought I would just grab another ball and keep bowling. That's when I discovered there were literally no other balls that I could fit my fingers in. They have 15-20LB balls with finger holes no bigger than a toddler's fingers. There was only one guy working and every time the balls got stuck he was nowhere to be found. Ended up leaving before we finished one game because it just wasn't any fun having to sit around waiting for the guys to show up so we could get our ball back. I would have given it two stars but since he still wanted us to pay for our game after all that they only get one star. Terrible experience, will not...

Give the Pizza 5-Stars the rest of the establishment 3-Stars. Pretty clean; BUT they post times on door & website the "established hours" & they just close whenever they feel like. Checked website first, says OPEN until 12am. Went there at 7:30pm ON A Saturday & the hours on the door said the SAME! GHOST TOWN. At least post if you're closing early or not...
