I was having some issues with my transmission. Harsh shifts both up and down, erratic shifting, and limp mode. Contacted Ethan and he walked me through what the issues could’ve been. Truck was throwing codes that pointed at a few things. After a few weeks of trying to chase down electrical issues, replacing valve bodies and solenoid packs, I pulled the trans and drove it to him 5 hours away. I was planning on dropping the transmission off and leaving. They disassembled it right there on the spot. Turned out, a bleed orifice in the OD drum blew out and was causing me to not have proper line pressures. The repair manual for my truck didn’t even cover this being a possible issue. Ethan and his team replaced all the bad parts while I was there, finished up the transmission and sent me on my way, after I bought his team lunch, of course. It was the least I could do.
