Sazerac Glenmore Distillery — Local services in Owensboro

The only reason I put one star,is because no star's, or negative star's are not an option. I got to this facility earlier in the morning, took me at least 10 minutes to get in the gate. After i got in,and checked in with the guards, that took another 10 to 15 minutes or more, then they told me i couldn't get loaded early, because they were too busy, and i would have to come back. My appointment time was for 3:45pm, but they told me to be back at 2:45pm, and they would load me. I got back at 2:30pm, took 20 minutes to get into the gate. I parked where I was told,and walked to the guard shack to check in, that took another 20 minutes. I got checked in, had to go back to my truck, and call a number, for shipping. Of course I had to try calling them 15 times, before i finely got ahold of someone. They told me that they were busy, and i couldn't get loaded early, this was about 3:15pm. I waited, for over an hour, before the guard came up to my truck, and told me i would have to move around back, to a road,staging area. About 4:30pm, i was called to a door. I sat in the door until 7:30pm, until they finely started loading me. I didn't get loaded, and leave until after 9:30pm. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!! I definitely don't recommend anyone come to this facility, unless you want to waiste a lot of time!!!! This Place is a complete joke!!!! Read this out of all of you picking or delivering at this place . They go by appointment for pick and delivery .My appointment was 2 pm for delivery and had pick up at 4 pm the same day . I came at 12:30 pm for delivery but they turned me out ,told me to come back at 2pm appointment time . So I left the property, and one light down there was parking on the side of the highway , i parked there and waited . Returned back at 2pm ,there is always a damn big line of trucks, and they only take 5 trucks at time to check with guard shack . (Try to come 20 mins early ,you should be fine ) . By the time I got the door, it was 3 pm, and they unloaded me pretty quickly ,which is good for whoever is delivering drop off or live load . The same shipping/receiving office checked me in for my pick up, and they gave me a different door around 4:30 pm . By the time they loaded me, it was 10 pm ( it took 6 hours ) . They are really good if it comes to unload, but loading you better come here with food because you'll get plenty of sleep while they load you . Restrooms are inside the shipping office and vending machines for drinks and snacks . The nearest truck parking is 30 miles away, but you dont wanna go there ,so this is what you do , when you get out of the property make left at the light ,go about one light down and make right and park along side...

Arrived at 05:10 on 3/3/25 for a 05:30 appointment. Checked in with the guard and received a door immediately. It is now 06:30, and I am the only truck at a door; they haven't started loading yet.

Back again. 8/28/25. I arrived early was told to come back later at my appointment time. Came back at my appointment time. This place treats you like you are here to rob them. You have to open your truck doors tillt your hood so they can look to see if you are carrying any contraband. After all that you have to call a number and give them all the same information that you gave at the guard shack. Just to get a door. Let's see how long it takes them to load. I pickup at brewerys and distilleries all the time this is the only one like this. Drivers I'm back again. 12/19/25. Belive it or not this place has gotten worse. The security people are extremely rude. I can't say more than that this post would get taken down. If I could id refuse to ever come here. I treat everyone with respect until I get treated like shit. Then I give it right back. You want to be treated with respect...
