Mendez Mexican Products — Local services in Oxnard

My family has been coming to this establishment for about 2 years now. The owners/cashiers have never been very welcoming. Due to my family and I liking their products we've tolerated their rude attitudes. But after two years of tolerating their attitudes we will not be doing business with the Mendez family any longer. The cashier lady (daughter) was very rude and was bothered by my mother looking at the products before purchasing about $30 of fruit weekly. She said in spanish that we may no longer open the boxed fruit before purchasing. This didn't make any sense. How can we just pick a box and be happy with our purchase? She said to not tell her anything, due to her father (owner) having an issue with us looking at the fruit. My mother waited to speak to him, since he was on the phone. After talking to him and explaining that we never once have left a mess nor switched fruit around, and always put everything back how we initially approached it, then did he acknowledge that his request was pretty silly. What broke the straw on the camels back was when we explaining that they don't need to be so rude to their customers, the cashier (daughter) stated "well you'll still come back to do business regardless." NO MAS! Never again will I be returning. I'd rather pay extra or drive further for good service than deal with a sour...
