Update #2: Black Friday, Patricks furniture was having a sale. I wanted to take advantage of the sale, so I walked in and met with Laura and her staff. I also had my family with me. I am so happy I decided to patron this business again, because it was the BEST experience! While Laura worked with me, another staff member “bonded” with my son. She was so sweet to him. A completely different experience! I purchased the sectional I had my heart set on. These people made you feel like you were “old friends”. Laura even addresses her staff as her “family”. This was a great experience and a life lesson! I will make Patricks Furniture my first stop for any future home furnishings I have. I wish I could make this a 10 star!!!

Update: To my surprise, the owners reached out to me after my comment. I never expected to ever hear a word from anyone. I have never had a response (especially so fast) to any customer service review I have ever done. That shows they are at the very least, watching and listening to their customers feed back! They are very apologetic and really seem to want to be helpful and make it right. I must say, they have went above and beyond what I ever expected. They are definitely worthy of me shopping with them for my next furniture purchase within the very near future. I am sure this is a learning lesson for everyone, including myself. I am changing this to a 4 star just for the follow up customer service, alone……with hopes of being able to change it to a 5 star in the very near future.

Original comment: I went into this store last Saturday 9/10/22, looking for dining room chairs. There was a lady working. There was 1 other customer in the store and they were browsing. The lady asked if she could help. I proceeded to tell her what I was looking for even showing her pictures. I found a chair I liked, it was the Mavin, to be exact. She said she doesnt order, I would have to call back on Monday to talk to the person about ordering. She walked away. I looked around at a few more chairs. i had questions, but she was uninterested in helping me. Even the other customer in the store recognized that she didnt want to help me, and the customer actually gave me the name of another furniture store to patron. First of all, Why should I have to call back Monday? Why wouldnt the business get my information and call me on monday? I guess they dont want my money very bad after all. So i took a picture of the tag on the chair and today, I traveled to Tennessee and I got my chairs somewhere else. My next purchase is the Paxton Lazy Boy sectional. I will be going elsewhere for that as well. I want to keep my money local, but, not from somewhere that cant treat a customer any better than...

After moving back to Paducah I found the perfect furniture store on Broadway st. It is called Patrick Furniture and Mattress. The furniture is very different than the usual older fashion heavy furniture that has been around for years. This furniture is fresh with new ideas and excellent quality. You could not find a better staff of personnel willing to help without smothering you and following you step by step while you browse. And yet they are there to answer any questions and search for any furniture you may have even if is just an idea in your head. They will spend hours searching inventory not just in their warehouse but in all the brand names and collections they carry. I am so impressed with Patrick’s.! I have been a customer of Patrick Furniture for over 20 years at the original Cape Girardeau location. I am thrilled for the family on the expansion to the Paducah area. The quality of furniture I’ve purchased is unmatched along with being very current in their styles and selections to choose from. The family run business brings a personal touch to the shopping experience and definitely shows in their customer service. I even purchased a lovely piece of furniture online and wasn’t pleased with how it fit in my home. They gladly took the piece back and put on their showroom floor so I could purchase something else that fit better with my space.
