I’ve been buying comics and other collectibles from these guys basically 99% exclusively for almost 25 years, and you couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable, friendly, and chill experience from a comic shop. Huge selection of titles, new and old, and chances are if you’re hunting a rarity they don’t have, they can get it. I use marvel unlimited, and that’s fine, but nothing beats the feel and the smell of a brand new gem, or a timeless classic in your hands. Got my first copy of Giant Size X-Men #1 from these guys back in about 2006, for an amazing price. Great source of info and stock on classic MtG sets, among other TCGs. Found this place on Ebay. Messaged about item and decided travel to them over hour and a half away. Got there and guy working is completely useless and clueless. If I hadn't have asked questions he wouldn't have said a word to us the whole time. Whoever messaged on Ebay item said it was same price in store. Over 180 dollars higher in store. "Idk have to ask the owner". Asked about layaway. "Idk have to ask the owner". Said owner works Monday through Friday. Called back after they open today and was told owner comes in at 3:30. Not terrible, but definitely not great. Upon entering the store I was never even greeted by the worker despite my “hello” to him as I entered. Instead I got a dull stare as he ignored me and went back to his computer. I continued over to the comics where I had to search around for 5 minutes since the worker was no help. After finding what I was looking for it quickly became clear to me that this was not the place to go for a deal. Most books were 15%-20% above market price. Overall I definitely wouldn’t recommend this as a place to prioritize as a stop. Try your luck...
