Karla and David handled everything—all we had to do was show up and enjoy. We were welcomed with a mouthwatering appetizer they had already prepared, and once everyone arrived, Karla handed out the three recipes we’d be making: Tuscan Bean Stew, Chicken Lasagna Rosettes, and her super-quick Chicken Pot Dumpling Pie.

We split into two groups of five and got to work on the first dish: Tuscan Bean Stew. Throughout the class, we were able to ask all kinds of questions—about cooking techniques, tools, and tricks of the trade. Karla and David were incredibly patient and generous with their knowledge. Honestly, it felt like we were on our own little episode of Chopped! 😄

After preparing all three dishes, we sat down together to taste everything. And wow—it was so good. As if that wasn't enough, David surprised us with a tray of mini desserts—about ten different bite-sized treats to sample!

With full bellies, lots of laughs, and the joy of being together, it turned out to be the BEST birthday I’ve ever had. Karla and David, you two are amazing. I’ll never be able to thank you enough for making this day so special.

If I could give the Artisan Kitchen owners, Karla and David more Stars I would. Today all of the Lunch Buddies help me Celebrate my Birthday in a very unique way. We met at Artisan Kitchen for a cooking class. We had such a good time and really enjoyed ourselves. Karla and David took care of EVERYTHING!!!! All we had to do is show up. We started out with the most delicious appetizer that Karla and Dave prepared for us. Once everyone arrived Karla gave us 3 recipes we would make: tuscan bean stew, chicken lasagna Rosettes and Karla super quick chicken pot dumpling pie. We were put in two groups of 5 each and started on our first recipe: tuscan bean stew. We were able to ask all kinds of questions about cooking /techniques/kitchen equipment. Boy Karla and David have so much patience! We felt like we were on one of the cooking shows-Chopped 😁! Once we finished all three of our dishes we sat down and sampled all the food!!!! DELICIOUS!!! And if that wasn’t enough David brings out a tray of desserts small bites of about 10 different sampling’s. With tummies full and great fellowship it was the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!! We (party of two) were there from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on a Wednesday. The food was good and the wait staff was very friendly and pleasant. Our meals were delivered fairly quickly, but after that things slowed down quite a bit. The two wait staff members seemed to be extremely busy even though there wasn't that large a crowd and not that many people arriving or leaving at any one time. I don't know what was keeping them so busy but perhaps it had to do with takeout orders? After she brought our food we never saw our waitress again until she brought the bill. Or, at least until she said she would bring the bill but after that we waited and waited. When she did finally come with the bill and I gave her my credit card there was another big wait until she returned, apologizing for "the computer." Although she remained pleasant and cheerful and encouraged us to come back again, she did seem very rushed. I would never blame the staff for this type of situation; perhaps management needs to evaluate their staffing to determine if a larger crew...
