I really hate to waste my time d0ing a review on someone that has absolutely no training or life skills , an or how to grow and keep a clientele of customers. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely and without cause or Reason given to me. This was my second time in the store in several months .The first time did not go well at all. Due to a sale on an item was marked up considerably over what had been offered weeks before. I had an issue with it and was treated rudely for commenting. This time in the store I went in for a 25 to 75% off clearance sale, picked out over $100 worth of merchandise men's shorts and pants went to the dressing room to try them on and because I'm 6 ft 3 I chose to put the items I was going to purchase on top of the dressing room two by four, instead of on the floor as there was no place to sit or put merchandise. Before before I knew it the same girl, person, child was at the dressing room shower curtain basically telling me to get those clothes off the top of the dressing room, too take the pants off I was trying on and leave the store. I was shocked beyond belief I'm a purchasing customer who walked in to make purchases and spend my good money at their store. I don't know if it's because I am a single male? I don't know if she was intimidated by my astute and knowledgeable Behavior and smiling face. I asked her several times what the issue was and she refused to tell me anything except to leave the store she did not like me the last time I was in the store or this time. In which I did nothing wrong and if she has cameras or some sort of evidence to prove otherwise I would love to see it. I'm not so sure there isnt a illegal issue here for denying me a purchasing customer the right to be in that store and to purchase items. It is all women and every time I have walked in there they all gather look congregate and Whisper about their customers. I have to say the merchandise is good, if only the people that work there were of the same caliber as the merchandise they carry. I will follow up with a report to the Better Business Bureau and speak with an attorney. I was embarrassed and she was hostile absolutely hostile towards me. After reading your post and critique of my review, I challenge you to provide any shred of evidence that anything was damaged Beyond laying your precious pair of shorts that would have totaled all of $3.99 on a 2x4 the dressing room was built out of. I am not the creepy one the girl that came and stood and stared at me while I took off my clothes to change looking directly through the shower curtain that was supposed to be a door to the dressing room felt very creepy to me. I was nothing but pleasant when I came in the store the first time and the same for this time. Please do not worry I will not return to your store ever there are so many wonderful Thrift and consignment stores in our community with Pleasant and professional people that know how to make someone's day, unfortunately you are not on that list. And I will tell anyone and everyone that I know about my experience with you. FYI after I left your store I went to several businesses that I always frequent in close proximity I know all of the people that work there and expressed to them the experience I had with you and not to my surprise they said they hear it all the time. About how rude under trained and unprofessional your emploees are! When your girl asked me to leave I did so quietly only asking why and told her I had three items to purchase . She refused to offer an explanation I was so angry I said nothing I took off the pants she had ordered me to take off and I left the store quietly . it was your choice to throw them away when you could have sold them they were name brand items all very nice I'm sure you made up some ridiculous reason to throw them away. And if you have cameras it will evidence my Behavior as nothing but an upset customer confused about what was happening receiving no explanation and quietly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow the staff here is so uppity! I went online downloaded forms read their policies filled the forms out and had them prepared to email to the store. I went in, yes with my items in bags, but prepared to get some hangers and hang them before handing over my items. The woman in the store informed me that no there's no emailing the forms, and set it in such a way that you could tell she thought she was above me. I stood they're not saying a word awaiting the forms but she continued to do nothing. So I asked her do you have the forms or not to which she replied no I don't think this is going to work we're not going to take your stuff You've already got an attitude. Well I quickly developed one and informed her of such. I would not take anything in this place for love nor money I would rather donate it or burn it rather than walk through their front door again. Just because I'm co-signing something doesn't mean that you are above me and anyway shape or form and you need to come down from your freaking high horse. You can come back and say whatever you want to this review but that is exactly what happened. Why have your forms available online and downloadable with your email address listed if that is not an acceptable way to return your forms to you? It's called modern technology very few people deal with actual paper in hand in today's modern world. Now I'm going to be sure to tell all my family and friends about your little uppity shop how high price it is to go along with your holier than thou attitudes. You're dealing in second hand clothing there is not a pedestal that you should be on at all in anyway shape or form. I'll be sending my stuff into Thread Up, and nationwide cosigner that does not have your requirements nor...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's unfortunate that online review platforms have been overrun with people who misuse them to create fake reviews as a cheap, useless means of retaliation. The people doing this don't seem to care that they aren't only harming the people who probably were the only ones to ever tell them 'no' in their lives, but regular people just trying to find information.
Trendy Repeats IS different from other resale shops, and it's so silly that the very people who constantly complain about wanting something different also complain about a place BEING different.
The store smells CLEAN when you enter. Others smell like "old clothes" or mold. An effort has been made to distinguish these clothes and their presentation for sale from that of an actual thrift store. Things are organized and periodically rearranged for ease of finding things.
The store reserves the right to reject anything that doesn't fit their theme. It isn't a personal insult to the consignor. It's a decision made to HELP them get the most for your merchandise, FOR you.
I filibuster this in an attempt to hopefully convince shoppers to look beyond what some random dork on the Internet (myself included) has to say. Go visit. Find a clean store with a great assortment of goodies, knowledgeable people who just care that your grody kids don't come in and trash things like they do Wal-Mart, and buy or consign. Don't listen to negative reviews left by the dog pack of scorned people who didn't...
