The trading post over all was a good place to visit. Restrooms were clean and they had a nice selection of souvenirs and typical convenience store snacks. The jerky selection was not as great as advertised. When we visited on 10/22/24, they only really had beef, extremely limited variety of bison, wild boar, or chicken. We grabbed a few different flavors to give them a try. We got two of their giant sour pickles to chill in our fridge, which were amazing after a warm day of hiking. But the real reason I’m giving this review a 5 star rating is because of the small grill they have located inside the trading post. The food at the grill was the highlight of the stop and I would even say well worth a drive out of the way! We ordered a Navajo burger and Navajo taco. The prices were great, but once we saw the equality and amount of food we felt we UNDERPAID. The food itself was PHENOMENAL! The burger was tender and juicy with fresh toppings, served with a side of hot fresh fries. The taco was out of this world and came with a variety of toppings including meat, beans, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, black olives and salsa with the perfect amount of spice. The fry bread for each meal was flavorful and cooked to perfection, not overdone at all. I had been told to get a Navajo taco when visiting Arizona, after passing up dozens of other places I’m so glad I decided to give it a try at this spot! Just writing this review and thinking back on all those amazing flavors, I’m craving another and already looking forward to our next trip...

The bathrooms were clean, although a few urinals were out of order during my visit. What really sets this place apart, though, is its location—just a short walk from some of the most stunning rock formations you’ll find in Page. If you’re up for it, hiking around the entire formation takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and is absolutely worth the effort. Just be sure to go on a dry day, as the steeper areas can get...
