Bought 5 ICEE drinks. You can taste the mold in the lines in your drink. The Manager says the machine cleans itself. Really?!!! I manage a restaurant and I know they can't clean themselves. After all,... they don't refill themselves. Culinary and servesafe certified. I know. Well, people do get sick from that. Even the ice machine has to be cleaned in any type of establishment where food is being served. I never received an apology, a refund, nothing. While I was turning off my cell phone, a young guy asked me to turn my phone off, I explained,... it lights up in order for me to see how to turn it off. He gets loud, and repeats himself,... I am turning it off sir, I replied. He leaves and returns with the police, and a Caucasian manager both standing opposite sides of the building while my wife, children, and I watched a movie . How uncomfortable. I gave a cashier $20 for a ten dollar tab. She asked the manager wat would be the amount of change to give me back because she accidentally closed the register. Really? Let me not forget to tell u about the railing, don't let your kids put their feet up on it, the usher will come around every time and tap you to keep anyone from damaging it. Being a manager, u can tell, it's a youthful staff controlled by intimidation. I live in South County, 45 yrs. Old. College degree, business management skills, 17 yrs experience. Guess blacks ain't figured it out yet. Even my children said the ICEE's taste terrible. 5yrs. 9yr. 10yr. Old. All couldn't have been wrong. Spent $70 +. Even your own people profile you. END VIOLENCEINSTL. With people like that, you create hostile environments. See why they need, but will need more police officers when the weather gets warmer. Good luck. The GM, I guess Caucasian gray haired guy, saw me talking to the assistant manager and never asked, was there a problem, yet looked directly at me , dropped his head, and walked behind his ASSistant through a side door, as if to say,... u handle it,... it's one of your kind. guess being black and educated don't make u any different from being a (N word)from the streets. Caucasian, Cop, and cowardly controlled movie theater. Bad future for that place.... if they don't hire more mature persons with enough intellectual experience to know who, what, and how...

The movie apparently started at 7:15pm my family and I arrived at 6:50pm. We got our snacks from the concession and began to walk into the theater (by now it was 7pm). We were stopped by an attendant saying that we couldn't go into the theater because they were cleaning. Which was okay, but I was frustrated because it was so close to the movie start time and cleaning was still taking place. Ive never had to wait for cleaning before going into a movie in my whole 26 years of life, but whatever. then a male attendant comes out and steps in my boyfriends face and says "you know this movie doesn't start until 7:15pm right, Geesh!!!!" my response was "really? its past 7pm right now!" then a female manager (i guess) comes out with a whole attitude saying to me "I heard that there were complaints! we are still cleaning. This was a sold out show. This theater was trashed! this movies doesn't start until 7:15pm!" My response was "why are you all acting as if everyone is waiting an hour before this movies starts? (by now its 7:05pm) bottom line this room should have been clean and management should have come out and apologize for the wait of everyone standing out there. its one thing to be behind time, but its another to be rude about it and act as if its the customers fault that the room was trashed and the last show was sold out. If we didn't have our toddler children there I would have asked for a refund based on the rudeness. I work in customer and I handle frustrating situations all the time and she(the manager) handled...
Ā Ā Ā Read more2/14/2020 My kids and I went to 24:1 cinema to see Sonic which was showing in auditorium 3 @ 6:45 pm. When we went to find seats the auditorium was very small. Me and my children were able to find 3 seats together. When pulling down the seat to sit in I discovered that it had old gum all over it I went immediately and told the manager he told me someone was going to come and clean the seat I waited 10- 15 minutes no-one came i went back to the manager to let him know that no one came and I asked for my money back. He pointed me to the concession stand I spoke to a lady that was in charge I explained to her what happened. She took me her office and said they donāt give refunds there but instead tried to give me tickets for another day, I told her I didnāt want to come back at all. I showed her pictures of the seat. She told me to go the website to get a refund I went on the website in front of her and there was no option for that. She told me if she give me a refund back they drawer was going to come up short for the night. Thatās not a customer issue if youāre able to purchase a ticket online we should be able to get a refund back online or at theatre. After going back and forth with her she finally gave me a refund but only tried to give me half. All n all 24:1 cinema is understaffed, unorganized, unprofessional, scammers and ghetto.
