This place is always a hit, they are typically fast, if you call ahead (they're always popp'in/busy). But even if it's last min and you do not call, you'll wait 15-20min for fresh food. Honestly, I think it's worth it 🤤🤤🤤. I've waited longer for less. They are open late, The portions are extremely generous (no exaggerations) I typically share a meal with my 17yr old daughter. Overall the food is always A1, which is why I wont remove a 🌟 However, please PROCEED WITH CAUTION WITH THE DESSERT! The last time I visited, I thought I'd be spontaneous and try dessert (for the 1st time). So, I ordered a 🍓 strayberry cake slice & 2 slices of cheesecake🍰 and ......yuuuk🤢🤮🤢 disgusting. Now, to MG's defense, I think the desserts are provided by a 3rd party vendor. The graham cracker crust from the cheesecake tasted like mush, the consistency of the cheese was more like cottage cheese. The strawberry cake wasn't any better, it didnt have ANY moisture and the icing was hard. --- Instantly threw this out--- did not swallow. This restaurant is basically a take out restaurant. The food is great. We prefer the Miami Wings (untreated with a Citrusy MOJO rub). They serve you large portions. We have had the 1/2 pound burgers, which were well cooked and served with lettuce, onion, pickle, and tomato. We frequently get the ribeye steak dinner, which includes a salad, baked potato, grilled bread, and a steak that is correctly cooked for a more than reasonable price of $12. The downside of the steak dinner is it is difficult to eat in the Styrofoam container with flimsy plastic cutlery. We usually put it on a different plate and use better cutlery. I am looking food to try some of their breakfast items and the shrimp and grits when I come back to town. They are open late. You can call in your order to shorten the wait time for pick up. So I am a long time customer of Miami Grill. I would go there for their portion meals, chicken Fish and etc. I hadn’t been there in a few months and just recently on January 6 I went to get a chicken and shrimp meal returned home and once I started to eat, I noticed that the chicken had went from portion pieces of chicken to wing it pieces of chicken they have reduce the sizes of the chicken, and raise the cost of the meal, so at this time, I will not patronize Miami grill at this time.
