I brought my laptop computer in for repair. They were very nice at first. I had an issue that was not worth repairing the lap top so they suggested pulling the data and putting it on a new laptop of another hard drive. I began to look for a new laptop but what I need is very costly and I simply didn't have the money for what I needed.
They pulled the data off of my laptop of which I was unaware of. I never asked them to and they never said they were going to. I neglected to pick it up until they sent me a text message saying they needed it out of the store. I dropped off a hard drive for them to put my data on only to find out that they deleted my data completely. They deleted my business files, personal photos, pictures and graphics I use for my business without any notice.
After I dropped off the hard drive, I received a call from them saying there was no data on the machine. I asked where it was and they said it was backed up on one of their back up drives. I never asked them to back anything up. They had since deleted the back up drive and everything is now gone. There are things that were on that drive that I will never be able to recover . THEY SCREWED UP. My business meant so little to them that they never even picked up the phone to ask me to pick up the computer. They claimed that they sent me 30 text messages. I asked them from what number and they couldn't give me a specific number. When I dropped off the drive they said it would take a day or so to transfer. I called after the weekend was over and they said they couldn't find any data.
I admit that I let my laptop sit there as I was trying to pull together the money to buy a new laptop suitable for the 800 gigs of data that was on the laptop I dropped off. I never thought they would be so careless with my data.
I am a small business owner and understand how costly mistakes are but this is 100% their fault. I have data bases of clients that I will never get back. I admit that I should have backed things up which is why I was looking for a new computer with two hard drives to allow me to do just that. I never thought a computer repair service would be so careless with a client's data.
It is going to cost me thousands of dollars to track down everything that was on that laptop from graphic designers, photographers, etc. if they even still have the files.
The worst part of this entire situation is that the employee at the store gave me an attitude and tried to blame me for laving it ion their store so long. I explained to him that the first text that I received from them was to pick up my laptop and I was there 1 day later with a hard drive. I never thought they would do anything even remotely this careless.
They offered me a used laptop for my trouble. If they hadn't done anything wrong they wouldn't have offered me anything.
I am devastated, angry, upset, shocked.

However, before I took my iPad Pro 9.7 in for a cracked screen, I messaged and/or called a couple places to confirm they were able to fix this specific one. I was debating about just buying a new refurbished one (I love this model and size) or taking it to Apple and paying the out of warranty cost to fix it. Zombie Tech said they could fix my model and so i called and put down a deposit so they could order the part. They called on Friday that the part was in and I drove up on my lunch (20 min drive). When I got there they told me that they would have to keep it overnight. I needed it that night so I agreed I would drop it off the next morning before noon. I then looked at another item for sale (MacBook Pro) but the guy had already left the front and gone to the back. I couldn’t wait much longer (lunchtime almost over) so I left.
We arrived Saturday next day at 11 and waited for the doors to open. Dropped off my iPad and agreed I’d be back before 3 to pick it up. I even asked about how they guarantee their part would work and mentioned that I’ve had issues in the past where I replace a screen on a phone and then the touch screen doesn’t work (not here) and that I was very hesitant about dropping it off. Omar said they review with you and I purchased the MacBook Pro on sale. I showed up at 2:30 and was told the part ordered was incorrect. The Touch ID wouldn’t work. I could just take it as is with the new screen and no Touch ID and bring it back or wait until the part arrived on Monday. He said that more they take the screen on and off again the more chance it wouldn’t work due to the sensitivity and play of the part. I said I wanted it back the way I dropped it off (he agreed and said he understood) and left it there for Monday pickup.
When I picked it up, the Touch ID didn’t work. No discount either (though I’d rather it worked as promised than get a discount). I waited an extra couple days and still didn’t get what I asked for throughout the transaction.
This is exactly why I asked before I went there if they were able to fix it my specific model. I wanted it back they way it was or I’d have gone to Apple or an Apple tech. I am very disappointed, extremely frustrated and feel I was lied and deceived. I won’t be returning again.

Viewers can not find justification on main problem which I have mentioned here about taking out front camera and not putting back even after employee confirmed that he will put it back. Even not letting me know about it. What kind of act is this??? And Removing screws ???
Another thing I dont know what story employee told to owner or he just trying to divert the story with saying I wanted free service. But FYI after coming back from store employee asked the apology about he didnt confirm the price with another employee, also offered me to do the service in half price which I rejected after this behavior with me. So getting free service is just a rubbish story. 😂

Highlight of the review: They stole my front camera and when I find out he told me to get lost from the store 5 times.I wish I called the police that time.
Lots of issues with them.
1)First thing they never call you back to give the status about your phone, keep calling and begging for your own phone.
2)For me every-time there is always different guy and have to tell about the previous conversation and about the pricing.
When he offered me if you want money back I will take our new front camera back and put your camera back. I confirmed that sentence twice. *Recorded there in their camera.
When he gave me the phone back I went out of the door and saw the phone closely, he took out his new camera and never put my camera back. Didn't informed me that I didn't put your camera. This is phone's insides stuff, you will not notice until you observe it closely. I went back after 1 min and asked about the my camera in Reply what he said to me "You just get lost"
I came home with my stolen camera phone. He called and said that was the mistake from our side, I didn't confirmed with other guy about the pricing. After coming home open the phone, few screws were also missing and because of that ear phone is also not working now. So right now I am with my no working phone of $1250 cost.
