I do not even want to give them 1 star. I called and got a quote on a price to change my tire on my motorcycle. They quoted me $60. I thought this was a fair price and decided to take my bike there. Everything went well dropping the bike off. But when i went to pick it up the bill was almost $110. They had but a inner-tube without my consent and tried to charge me for shop supplies. When i confronted them on why my old inner-tube was bad (only had 6k miles on it) they said nothing, that they always replace the tube. I asked them about the belly band that protects the tube from the spokes on the rim and they said it was fine. From my experience you always replace the belly band because that is what wears out first. I asked to see mt old tube and they said it was not available. So i told them i would not be paying for the tube since my "old tube was not available". Then they proceeded to try and charge me a $4.99 fee for shop supplies. I asked him what shop supplies they need to change a tire. The told me compressed air..........., really????? Compressed air? So after paying the final bill i walk out to get on my bike, the wheel was not balanced and my front tire had dirt and rub marks all over the white wall from the tire clamp. They refused to clean it off and told me rims with spokes cannot be balanced.... so i asked them why did it have a clamp on spoke weight from the last tire on it when i dropped it off?? He could not answer that question. So after getting home i took the wheel off myself and took it to First Coast for balancing. They balanced my tire for me and it was off 1.5oz. Looks like they need to get a more professional service department at St. Johns powersports. I am a Mechanic myself, with a management degree and i never treat...
Read moreBAIT and Switch!!!! I found this company online and found a unit I wanted to purchase. I submitted and inquiry and recieved a call back from Zach. He was very professional and knew his products. The next day I made a 45 minute trip to see them for a purchase. I came in, saw the SXS I wanted and proceeed to go over financing and costs etc. I was given a written quote with a cost and a financing rate and payment. I was prepared to purchase, pricing was fair and rate was reasonable. I made another 45 min trip to get a trailer. While returing I was texted they had made a mistake and the unit was priced higher than what I had on my written qoute and that the financing terms would also be significantly higher. This put a bad taste in my mouth about the company that I was dealing with but wasnt a deal breaker. Next I got a call from the manager Brandon.... he was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! He did admit they had incorrectly quoted me earlier but was unwilling to honor the wriiten quote from an hour earlier . He had the audacity to say "I should have quoted you a higher price in the begining so I could have taken something off to make you feel better". Now I was upset because he was very condescending. I told him to send me over the new pricing so I could review. He then called back and said Ihey wouldnt sell me the SXS and we wernt a good fit. At this point I was already willing to pay a competitor more to not have to deal with this level of unprofessionalism. Given the mood swings and level of mishandling around pricing I reccomend this place starts drug testing their employees. Perhaps a refresher in customer service would also help their bottom line. Dont waste your time find a professional dealer with respectable emplioyees. Very unsatisfied with...
Read moreComing up on a year since I purchased a 2023 Sea-Doo GTI 170 SE from Brandon at St. John's Powersports. He made the process so simple. I had done my research and knew the model of ski I wanted before hand, he didn't waste my time.
I want to say this ski came perfect, it didn't. Sea-Doo manufacturing had a problem with this engine build and put in a bad Stator. This caused my ski to experience a wave of interesting experiences as I continued to ride the ski. I like to put heavy hours on a ski, 100 hour+, per year. St. Johns Powersports worked with me every step of the way through this process and gave me all of my options to resolve my issues.
I had to have help finding 4 missing Oteker Clamps that are required for warranty work when the engine is opened and hoses are removed. Luckily, another shop and some quick negotiation by my brother-in-law, I had the parts for St. John's Powersports quickly to get the warranty work done.
I have had the jet ski back for a few months, rode it hard, real hard. St. John's Powersports, did the most incredible job putting me back onto a jet ski that I feel confident performs the way the manufacturer intended and then some. St. John's Powersports also advised me on the best way to get in touch with Sea-Doo Warranty Claims to seek additional assurance that this issue was resolved; they have met my expectations and that's all I am allowed to say about that.
This place sells toys. You're likely going to have problems with your toys if you're using them often. You're likely going to get to know these people on a personal level at some point. I trust the work they do and the service they provide. St Johns Powersports is my choice of Dealership and Service...
